No, only the Bruins.

KD/TKO win Horton in a surprising upset.
Win/Edge Cogs, this one was pretty one sided.
Draw/Edge Vandy if youre giving one. Nice to see both of these guys fighting.

I kind of look at it from the boxing point of view myself. If the ref needs to step in to save the downed fighter from further damage that he likely won't be able to defend himself from then it's a TKO. If it's just a flash knockdown and the guy still has all of his wits about him then it's a KD.

Basically the same thing as you're saying.

As for this fight, it's hard to tell without a replay, but you're probably right.

Why does Horton's win seem to surprise everyone?

The Lucic - Vandy scrap would be a draw but Vandy smiling at him the entire fight kind of gave him like the momentary aura of Darren Langdon. Hence edge Vandy.

It was nice to get 3 fights from this game including a good tilt with Looch and Vandy, however i was hoping to see MacIntyre find a dance partner in Thornton or Chara.

Noone seem's to be particularly amazed by the fact that Horton won.
Seem's like most just thought it was a great punch and a nice tko.

Shows you how delusional you are. Bruins won one fight, lost two. Cogliano got the narrow win and so did Vandermeer. But the rules of Bruins fights is that if it's a draw, IT AUTOMATICALLY a win for the Bruins player. You guys make me sick

The General consensus is...

KD/TKO Win Horton
Edge/Win Cogliano
Edge Vandy

Edge Lucic is in the minority for good reason.

This thread continuing for arguments sake is just redundant and stupid!!

That the way I saw it. The last flurry won the fight for Lucic IMO. It was Vandy's up until that point. But Lucic stole the W with the strong finish.

This was a heat of the moment exchange. These are the kind of fights I would expect to see from Lucic as long as he continues to improve his overall game. Probably no more than a half dozen times a year. The days of him fighting guys off the faceoff are most likely a thing of the past.
I hear what you're saying and I feel for ya on that one. We are seeing a similar thing here with the Rangers and Dubinsky. Don't get me wrong, Dubi is nowhere near the caliber of Lucic, but Dubi is basically a top liner now and we're just not gonna get as much fighting action outta him anymore. I would love to see Dubi fighting a bit more. He looks bulked up this season and has filled out. He doesn't look like a punk teenager anymore. Damn, I wish I could see him fight more nowadays. It's sad actually.

I thought Lucic earned a narrow victory. So yeah, I'm seriously gonna try to take this advice. It's gonna be tough though. I mean, considering that there is only a small percentage of people that are actually "smart." The rest of us just think that we are.

Cogliano got the better of Marchand in their fight.

And Lucic-Vandermeer was a great battle. If anyone landed the better punches throughout, it looked like Vandermeer to me, but I think this one is most properly called a draw. Also, this might have been the most positive commentating I've ever heard Jack Edwards make about an opposing fighter during a scrap.
And the poor prick was still wrong. He thought Lucic was stunned by a phantom punch.

I see alot of people were sold on that smile. It looks like that smile did enough to create an optical illusion that Vandy won the fight. Go figure.

Yes! Uh-humm, go on now, talk about it.

I called Lucic a cherry picker and it gets edited out? Am I wrong? Look at his fight card since the Orr fight. Or has the board moderation gotten too sensitive here that we cannot even say what is on our minds?

Not sure you want to look at the careers of those two since that fight.
