I like Frazer though, young tough guy who can skate more than 6-7 minutes a game. Its nice to see him in the lineup each night getting experience and part of some plays. SJ usually does play a tough guy.

yet coach mac only gives frazer about 4 min per game if hes lucky.. would like to see him get a lil more time to develop his skills. he has been compared to a poor mans ryan clowe. also hoping he stays in the lineup when jamal comes back.. i would much rather see mcarthy get sent down as he has been awfully quiet soo far.. i know most the heavys are in the east but just being in the same division as the ducks(parros) and kings(westgarth) he should stay in the lineup altho i see him getting owned by both

McLaren will stay McCarthy will go down to help growth. I wouldnt be surprised to see sharks go with 7 D men again, have Demers play on the 4thline. Also the games have all been really close thats limited McLarens playing time. If we have a decent lead in the 3rd he will be playing more to keep things in control physically and help improve his play and give the other guys a rest. jsut wait 10 more games.

The AHL would be a good place for McLaren to develop skills. The last thing the Sharks need is to throw a 4th liner any higher for on-the-job-training. Watching this crap makes me miss both Shelley and Staubitz all the more.

I do miss staubitz energy but not really his fighting. I miss shelley's leadership and going with the best of him. The problem was he can skate a regular shift and doesnt take bad minutes so he is very pricey because of his experience.

I do miss shelley.. definatly not staubitz way too many stupid penalties and not even the fighting skill to make up for it.. i do think Frazer has more playing potential than both and better fighting potential than staubitz. we should have kept shelley another year so he could teach frazer a few things bout throwin down with NHL heavys

I wish we had like 3 ryane clowe's. One for Scoring one for passing and controlling boards and one fighting. If he dedicated himself to fighting he would be very nasty. Shelley would want more than 500k. I have a feeling Sharks are going to go after a D man mid season.

Staubitz was a cool nasty guy but he started hugging too much. He cares too much about his good looking face(no homo) but I do see him out at the bars in SJ and he does pull tons of girls so I think he didn't want to open up and hurt the money maker.

McLaren needs to have a more aggressive style with better balance. I see most of his wins coming from LHW's and an occasional middle weight and losing to top 10 HW's until he gains exp. I think his first test will be Parros again and westgarth. Biz as well. if he drops a couple more I think coaches might say something. He will do fine, I want to see him not hold back, i feel like he is.
