GodardNYI, I agree completely on Sutton, his play has been stellar, the hit on Callahan was big, he also had a big hit on Prospal in that same sequence, and he had a sweet deflection for a goal, I think it was the same game.
I really hate him, so much. I'd prefer Park over Sim any day. I do agree Park has been ****ing awful though.

Last nights game was great. The only negative I can think of is the slow start. It really does seem that everyone is gelling. The D looked awesome last night. They shut down the offense nicely in the 3rd, clocked passing and shooting lanes and the fore check was lookin good. Sutton is lighting **** up. His blue line hip checks are a thing of beauty and seems to have become a force to be reckoned with. Tamby looks a lot better, but I'm gonna wait a bit before I make my final judgment. I wonder if the younger guys are starting to mature and play like how Snow thought they would play. Is this team finally developing?

I love how every player who goes down on his side along the boards duck down to avoid a hit and Sutton purposely ducks as well to their level and just lights em up. Its such a slap in the face intimidation wise to the hit'ee.

I agree 100%. Im definitely curious to see how tonights game plays out. If they can play like they played last time and shut down Buf., I think we might have a legit team.
Do you guys think that everything is starting to come together with the younger guys or is this just a good past few games?
This may seem weird, dont get me wrong, I am loving the fact that we are winning and people are looking good but I really would love to see the Isles get a sick draft pick next year. Any way, heres to a good game guys

LOVE IT! F*cking textbook. I love how Sutton lined him up from halfway across the ice. I want a few of those tonight.

I guess all the "team jelling" talk can stop now. Bad loss last night.

Pretty sh*tty boring game against the Devils tonight. And despite the Islanders inability to generate good scoring chances for most of the game, they came really close to tying this one up, but Okposo couldn't bury that late chance.

And I guess Martinek was due for an injury. It didn't look very good when he went down and left the ice.

6 goals? Didn't see that coming, but nice to see the team remember how to put the puck in the net after the past couple games with very poor offensive efforts.

Comeau looked good in his first game back in the lineup. Get Sim the f*ck out of there!

And I'm really loving Andy Sutton so far this season. The hits, the blocked shots, and how about those hands being used to put in some goals? He had a very nice finish on the first goal of the game tonight on a great feed from Tavares.

Sim has got to be the guy who gets scratched on Wed when Hunter dresses. Real encouraged with the effort, second game of a back-to-back, and 3rd in 4days.

7 game road trip coming up, but a lot of teams we should be able to compete with. Washington with no Ovechkin, Carolina, Florida, etc. Would like to see 9 points on this trip.
