Always liked the guy, (and you def can't argue the value of him being out all year for the cap relief) but just another reason that we we're so soft last year.

Whether leblond comes back depends on the coach and his attitude toward "enforcing" ....either way he's in his last year of his contract I think and I don't see the devils resigning him. I hope i'm wrong though.

Seen Stoez play a couple times and he can play hockey at the level of an NHL enforcer but he's still a little lacking in the actual fighting dept (ironic)

I love Salvador, I was happy when they got him even though it meant the end of Janssen. At this point though I'm hoping Corrente can win a spot on defense, and Leblond can work his way onto the 4th line.

Who knows, maybe we sign Godard.

Told you guys Corrente was coming back. He's expected to sign his qualifying offer sometime before tomorrow's 5 p.m. deadline his agent told TG.

Actually it was Fraser that had the hand, Corrente's problem is his shoulder. Besides he doesn't have to grow, he can be our Rick Rypien.

Corrente had a hand issue too. He broke his left hand in the 1st month of the season. Was the Ryan Clowe fight I'm pretty sure.

My only problem with them bringing back Corrente is that he may take time away from Cam as the team seems to view him as a winger now.

He played wing a few times under Lemaire, but they don't view him as a winger. They want him to be a defenseman. The 5,6 and 7 spots on defense are completely up for grabs right now. Salvador isn't guaranteed to return and none of the other rookies are far and away a candidate for a spot. There's a place for Corrente if he can grab it.

That makes me incredibly happy. I love the buy but I hope we find a way to trade Zubrus now. We desperately need right wings that can score goals and I really want Clarkson to get that opportunity to get between 15-20 goals and 15 or so fights again.
