Gill skated with the team and by all reports, is improving everyday. Looks like their target is for him to return for Game 5.

Gill was hurt blocking a shot against Dallas late in the regular season.

Hillen or Ellis to replace him along the blueline.

Preds will probably go back to Halischuk, who has a little more offense going right now than Tootoo.

Preds rolling four lines and will increase time accordingly based on which one clicks the best.

Todd Bertuzzi: Tattletale

Quote:
Todd Bertuzzi reportedly spotted a couple of Nashville Predators players lurking around the Wings' pingpong table on Monday afternoon and promptly dealt with the matter.

Rumors had Bertuzzi folding up the table himself and wheeling it out of sight, something he told reporters wasn't true.

"I came out of our room, saw some of their guys wanting to play on our pingpong tables and told security," Bertuzzi told the Detroit Free Press. "I didn't do anything else. I didn't move the table myself."
Red Wings defend home table - By Tattling!

Rumor has it one of the players was Brian McGrattan, and since Todd couldn't jump him from behind and left his stick in the locker room, he resorted to telling on him...

Practice lines...

SK74 - Fisher - Erat

Bourque - Legwand - Radulov

AK46 - Spaling - Hornqvist

Smith - Gaustad - Yip

Honey Badger on the 4th line? I like... The fascination with Yip is perplexing though. Would rather see Tootoo or Wilson there. Toots took a bad penalty in Detroit by rapping Zetterberg in the back of the head while Zetterberg was clearly holding the stick in clear view of the donkey. Trotz wants to get that Wings playoff monkey off his back so I can see Jordin sitting.

Hal Gill practiced with Klein. Would be a good pairing as KK can fill the play offensively and Gill play back. His size would be welcome against Holmstrom, Franzen, and Bertuzzi as well down low.

Close this one out tonight!

Detroit was no slouch and I think they would have had a relatively easy time if they had played CHI, PHX or SJ.

After our victory over the Wings, the only other team that scares me in the entire NHL is the Blues. I am proud of my squad and they look poised for a run at that silver thing.

Uncharted territory, for me anyway.

So nice to be the first team to advance into the next round.

To do it against the standard of our division for the last upteen years is doubly sweet.

The boys are really looking good with the ability to roll four lines that are not only good defensively, but have offensive punch as well, which as anyone who has followed this team, has not always been the case.

Whomever we get in the 2nd round, it's gonna be a great series.

It looks like we go to Phoenix or host Chicago later this week.

I really like our chances to advance against either team.

2nd round begins tonight.

Well rested and healthy barring an injury during practice...

Keeping the same lineup for Game 4.

I like what that 4th line brings to the table.

Erat was moving like a man possesed in Game 3. Hope he keeps that up.

That sucked.

Decent effort...but Tippett had his guys better prepared this series.

Smith definitely got in our heads, too and that didn't help.

Fore!

Well that certainly sucked ass...

Be interesting to see who stays and who goes. The draft is gonna be crap and it will be interesting to see what's in the coffers for the RFA's/UFA's.

Predators Martin Erat left World Championship semifinal in 1st period after he got shoulder to face from Slovakian player. Possible concussion
