Should we get a designated enforcer?

I'm guessing this is a better place to argue about it. If someone ever reads that thread.

Won't be much arguing here. Yablonski and Mirasty are too fat and short to ever have gotten a chance at the NHL though so I wouldn't worry about that pre-season brawl really.

I'm not talking about some Yablonski or Mirasty, I'm talking about guys that are NHL enforcers. Should we go get some guy like Hordichuk or Parros, for example, since they were on the UFA market this summer... or, next summer, some guy like Bordeleau, Orr, McGrattan, Shelley...

Ah! I would love Bordeleau. Being he's a local boy, he could be a fan favorite. Wishful thinking...

Bordeleau would be a good fit being French, McGrattan would be a good fit being McGrattan, and Shelley would be a good fit as an aging veteran enforcer with great locker room intangibles. Probably wouldn't get too much ice though.

I don't care... we need an enforcer since the days of Darren Langdon. Aaron Downey played 20 games a year and Georges Laraque was a total bust.

The debate I was trying to bring on here is the debate on if we are okay with Prust as our toughest guy or if the other fans would like to see some real heavy on the line-up.

Because we were having that debate in another section of the forum and I think these Habs fans debate remain in the team forum.

I kind of thought that Pierre L... L... L.... whatever the hell his name was would have been a good fit. Not much of a player perhaps?

Only 40 NHL games, he'd be good but unlikely for that reason.

Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond, or simply, PL3.

I think Bordeleau is a better player and fighter.
