Performance

The wild have won several games by playing hard and lost 2 or 3 by sitting on there ass's but the three players i want to single out. first being Zidlicky he is terribly underperforming, sunday nites hip check was just pathetic and his skating has been abysmal..Koivu has played fine but is snakebit, he needs to loosen up he is pressing way to hard... and the third is Staubitz other than sundays game he has reminded me of the wizzard of oz character...he needs to get a brain..some of the most supid fricking penaltys..love the team but still 3 players away from a playoff team.....Anyone notice Barker is sitting for Edmenton........surprise surprise....I still want to get even with Chicago for that one

First period watch Zidlicky I rest my case....Columbus is kicking our ass with help of officials

Since I missed the game and the nhl.com highlites don't show much outside of goals and saves, I have a couple of questions about the other night's Jackets game. Did anyone (Staubitz) go after Dorsett again? I know Stoner has the messed up hand, so I don't really fault him for not dropping them. But to have Warren Peters have his butt handed to him isn't exactly sending a message. I'm also going to guess that no one (mainly Staubitz) sent a message to Matt Calvert for trying to go after PMB. I get why Calvert did but he is at least 50% of the blame for what happened and there is no way PMB is going to fight with his concussion history (not mention he is only physical on accident). So if Staubby isn't going to send any messages to people like Dorsett, Calvert, or Boll, what is he doing for the Wild?

I would rather see Bagnall called up over Fredheim.

Bags

Freidheim did not impress me but some of the guys sure skated there asses off lastnite...Once again Koivu and Heatley got shut down...I am liking Gillies more and more every game......Should be a suspension on Jones for leaving his feet but the Justice of the Peace (Brendan Shannahan) B.S for short. will do exactly nothing and say it was a hockey play..****ty play by Johnson at the end (what the hell was Clutterbuck trying to do????}.......even game but Colorado is snakebit and needs a boost BRING IN BAGNALL

Nashville????

Happy Thanksgiving !!! Is it just my imagination or was Nashville just slow...I realize this was the second game of a back to back for them but jesus..I did not think the wild would outskate and outhustle them that bad..Couple of kodak moments when Gillies cracked McGratten, the look he gave Gillies was chilling and Gillies with the holy **** look...and why was McGratten skating ??? the wild do not have a HW?? I shudder to think it was because Staubitz was in the lineup....Check the quotes by Kassian, even he agree's the days of 1 dimensional fighters are over....

Edmenton

Kudos to Edmenton..they completely and thoroughly dismembered the wild...And i thought i would never say this but the sports writers got it completely wrong..Hordichuck should have been the first star...Intentionally baiting Staubitz Into stupid stupid penaltys,,,He deserves to sit a few games to get his head on straight.....the turtle moves were spot on what a coach would want....Those kids from edmenton are something wow I am sure they will lose a lot of games but with the kids they will be exciting....Its a shame the first line of the wild does not skate with the intensity of the second and third line...

I hate to say this but its time for Lundin...the lack of size on D and the lack of Physical play from them was extremely evident yesterday...the kids on d just do not have the size or strength to control the offensive players...Stoner cannot fight so lets bring up the Bag man...give him a chance and on the 30th give kassian a chance to prove himself....Staubitz just isnt the answer no matter what anyone says......../RNH said it after the game we exposed Minnesota's weakness's well said

Kudos to Backstrom being a Dad is special but wait till you are are Grandfather its a whole different world........I have two grandson's Noah and Gus...I hope they play hockey but better than that that they stay out of the penalty box like there fathers did not......

D looked Hor****

Time for a change, teams are exploiting the yougsters on defence...Lundin might not be the answer but some of the plays on d the last two games are a product of youth and lack of experience...but how long can the wild give games a way in the tight division...We need a mean viscous bastard back on d and we need heatly to get his ass out of dead low gear

It was a painful one to watch on Boogaard memorial night.

The Flamers just kicked the piss out of us from opening drop to the end of the game.

Mike Lundin isn't the answer, a guy like Drew Bagnall is the answer.

Zanon coming back in the future will help, as he's physical and doesn't take **** on the back end... but we need a guy that is going to try and take a head off... not use a "good stick" all the time.

Also, how or why is Brad Staubitz in the lineup anymore? I've never seen a more undisciplined player in my life. Anyone that hits him or looks at him, and he goes ape **** to cost the team.

Message in itself

Lundin will be paired with Nick Schultz, playing the right side. Greg Zanon will be paired with Clayton Stoner. Marco Scandella is paired with Jared Spurgeon and Justin Falk, banged up, will be scratched.

This is according to Russo.. Maybe the coach has had enough, You are correct on Staubitz. but still will not see Kassian as he is not one of Yeo;s favorites at all....Some confilict in houston last year..Brad's problem is Brad period..One would think that he would see the light at the end of the tunel...Tough enough kid with a cement block between his ears..two double minors and several untimely penaltys the last few weeks should wake him up but no so far..Just when you need him to stir the pot against Calgary he disapears into a checking forward...Welman up we will see

Good solid game

D played well against an offensive team..Zannon stood tall and Lundin surprised the hell out of me....I thought 4th line looked good. How about Mike Yeo sending Staubrain out with less than 2 min remaining. a vote of confidence ......Clutterbuck was dandy as usual....He even told StLouie that he wasnt short he was vertically challanged.....Great comment......I just thought the game was a dandy skating game

For those wondering how Matt Kassian is doing.

Did very well against two very tough, seasoned NHL heavies in Eric Godard and Raitis Ivanans.

Wish he could be doing that up at the NHL level...

This team has a switch, and man can they play like **** before flipping it.

I sent a tweet about 40 seconds before Setoguchi got goal one, saying how awful they looked up to that point in the 2nd. They were being physically dominated, doubled in shots, and bam! Rally starts. Funny stuff.

The knee to knee on Cal was a joke. Ryan Whitney should get a call from Shanny, because that was cheap, intentional and we now are without Cal, who could barely put any weight on the leg at all. It'd be a HUGE loss if Cal is lost for any significant time.

Still thought the boys were physically dominated for 90% of the game, and that wasn't fun to watch.
