I would prefer to see Scott stay at D since Kassian is a left wing. They could try moving Sifers to forward instead of Scott. The paper and the radio team said that Scott did not look comfortable at wing all night long. I wonder why the Wild always seem to want to convert defensemen to forwards. First Andy Sutton and then Burns and now Scott.

You forgot Alex Henry in there.

I'd rather keep Little John back as well. He's a defenseman. He's always been a defenseman. Don't try and **** with things that were working last year with him when he came up.

The only thing for me is I don't like having a D as an enforcer. Would much rather have a forward.

Nummelin and Marshall also.

I'm excited for this game to get started. Not "I have a boner" excited, but excited.

You can easily see that a lot more work is still needed.

Gave up a lot of odd man rushes tonight. I didn't think they looked bad, but it wasn't great. Looked better than a lot of the teams I've been watching the last couple days

They had good control of the puck in the zone a few times, just gotta get some more shots on goal.

I thought the breakouts looked horrible.

Some of the passing, couldn't have been any uglier. I thought we got rid of Bergeron, and here I kept seeing Bergie type passes out there.

I think the breakouts will improve over time. It's a different breakout, and with so many guys not practicing or playing preseason games, it'll take a bit to click.

The game looked pretty uneven to me. I thought the looked a little lost at times and then looked really good. I even saw Kim Johnsson throw a body check. The powerplay was up and down. It didn't look like they had much a second unit. It was interesting to see PMB get dropped to the 4th line in favor of Belanger. Cal threw 5 or 6 hits last night. Backs was solid but the defense is going to have to tighten up. Big John looks out of place playing forward.

I agree with Yoke that it will take a little bit of time to get everyone on the same page but the sooner they do it, the better.

I think tried to forget that and the Nummelin experiment.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. He looked lost, or whatever beyond lost looks like - he looked it. He's got natural defensive defenseman instincts and a move to forward just isn't going to do anything for him, or the team.

I understand you want that "element" of the team, or deterrent, but, find a way to roll 7 blue liners instead of trying him up front and having absolutely NOTHING come of it.

I'm not a fan of having D move up to forward either. If you think, most of these guys have been playing whatever position they are at for almost their whole lives, and now, at the most difficult level of hockey, they switch them.

No thanks.

Off topic, but any of you guys playing in leagues around the Twin Cities? I'm at Brooklyn Park.
