Will Westgarth be the odd man out in LA?

I mean, I hope not, and I don't want to risk injury on anyone, but this is how the roster looks like going into the season, but teams can only carry 23 guys.

Here's the base roster according to Capgeek, and Nolan who's on a 2-way won't be sent down to start the season. Is Clifford still injured? I'd have thought they would have bought Westy out or traded him if there was no room for him, they save money that way instead of the AHL bury route.

Hope he makes it, by injuries or whatever, what do you think?

I don't think Westie is going anywhere. I think Gagne and/or Richardson will be traded for picks. That is my guess.

Not sure Sutter will use him. I do hope he sticks around and fights some next year. Clifford willl not last long fighting all year long so Westy has to get in some games this year

I'd rather let Westy go, and get Ivanans back. Ivanans would actually you know... enforce. Westgarth hasn't done **** to impress me in his first two years with the Kings. I lost just about all the respect I had for him when Reaves dropped Clifford and Westy didn't force Reaves to go, something Ivanans would have done. Ivanans may not have been one of the best fighters in the league but was a damn good enforcer.

I will agree with you brymaster! Ivanans would forced Reaves into a brawl and went little nuts to smack Reaves down. Westy should pushed that fight and kicked Reaves ass

Hey Brymaster you from Ventura County by any chance thought you had Ventura on your signature. I live here in Ventura myself and get tickets to games all the time!

Ivanans was a certified boss, but I think it's Westgarth or nothing here enforcer-wise

Yeah doesnt seem Sutter likes to play the Heavy weight which sucks for us fans over here in LA.

Clifford can only take so much so if there a season and clifford gets whooped a few times maybe Sutter should think about another scrapper to the group.

Guess Sutter thinks King, Nolan and Clifford can handle the fistcuffs ouch cause we doomed

Those three still provide more toughness than most teams have these days. Nolan, when he doesnt get jumped is a pretty darn good fighter, Clifford will hopefully get some of his courage to start throwin em' back, along with resting his melon with this lockout going on. And king, even though I'm sure most guys know he can fight now, I still dont see him going more than 3 or 4 time at most a year, he just doesnt have that nasty side in his game.
