Guess Commodore is making is season debut against Calgary tonight. He might get in a fight just to show what he can bring. Should be a pretty good game. Last year Stuart and Iginla paired off but the refs got in the way.

I'll probably tune into tonight's game, although I've only watched about 2 periods so far this season. There are a few teams that can make the Wings play a bit more physical, and Calgary is one of them.

I'm interested to see if Commodore can still play and stay motivated, although I doubt we'll see him fight unless he's really forced.

Yeah, Calgary is one of them, so are the Ducks, Sharks, and Canucks. Those games are always fun to watch, for a Wings game that is.

The fact that we haven't had a single fight during this 6-game losing streak is pathetic. I realize guys like Abby, Ericsson, and Bertuzzi don't go looking for it...but COME ON! The fact that no one went after Iginla to at least get him off the ice is pathetic. Can someone ignite this team!? There better be some spark in tonight's game.

This club is way too complacent.
Even those who have limited ice time and games appear content in their limited roles. There have been plenty of opportunities to show some emotion and drive given the overall performance.
This team doesn't exactly have the luxury of going cruise control anymore until the playoffs start. I don’t think they have accepted the fact they need to show up for a full work schedule.

I am still shocked that these players have not risen up and demanded that the idiot GM get them some protection. Boggles the mind.
The coach is just a yes man, he is not stupid. The idiot GM must have told him "Look, I am a pansy, I don't like fighting, therefore you will not get an enforcer to protect these guys."

I watched my first Wings game last night vs. the Kings. They looked good, but when they showed Hudler I felt my blood pressure soar.

I know we are all on the same page and I apologise for being negative. It just upsets me that these guys get manhandled and run almost every single game. God only knows what is happening today agianst the Ducks. I am DVR'ing it for later...

There are now 25 players who have more or the same amout of fights the Wings have. That's actually quite sad. If they don't break 10 fights this season I'm burning all my Red Wings ****.
