There is a far better chance that Lucic will fight Scott tomorrow because of the recent history between the Sabres and Lucic. The only way I see Lucic fighting Orr is if Orr takes a cheap shot at somebody while Lucic is on the ice. Otherwise, Shawn Thornton is on the team for a reason, and it's to fight the Colton Orr's of the world.

If nothing happens in the game Thursday, it wouldn't shock me to see Lucic fight Orr. His rookie year, his only real losses were to Gleason and Erskine. Since then he had fight both guys twice, getting victories over both. To his credit, Lucic seems like he takes losses to heart and looks to avenge bad losses and the loss to Orr was probably his most lop sided loss of his career.

Lucic won't fight Orr again.

That didn't over so well for Milan the first time. Orr is on another level and would break his face again.

Thornton and Orr, lock on HNIC!

Lucic has no problem fighting Komisarek over and over again, but he'll never challenge Orr again.

Man I love Engo but Lucic is way too big for him. It would still probably be entertaining but I see Lucic coming out of that on top every time. Is rather see Lucic vs Orr or Scott.

I disagree. Engo has beaten Orr twice. I think he can hold his own over Lucic.

Lucic has evolved and improved his fighting skills immensely since they last fought.

It looked like Orr was on his way out after missing the better part of the past 2 seasons due to injury and AHL demotion only to come back with a vengeance early in this young season!

Lucic started their first fight well, nearly shirted Orr and was winning briefly. Orr gained his composure and landed numerous unanswered punches to earn the decision win. Lucic showed his chin is quite durable during this clash of the titans.

I'm not sure how the rematch plays out. I'm big fans of both players. Let's hope it's an entertaining bout that leaves the fans out of their seats cheering for these modern day warriors!!!!
You say Lucic has evolved as a fighter in the last three years since Orr beat him here's who he's fought --- Gaustad, Carkner, Sestito, Kaleta, Prust, Komisarek, Erskine, Harrison, Vandermeer, Brewer, McCormck, Roshill, Boll, Mair and Gleason not much there if you ask me and he's had three years to get back at Orr.
Not many titans in that list, don't get me wrong good fighter but not to many of the big boys on that list.

Agreed. I was going to say the same thing. People think he's improved because his fight card, especially last year, has been pretty weak recently. People will say "he fought Matt Carkner". Yup. One HW the last 2 seasons. AWESOME!!!!......

i'd list erskine as a heavy too, he dont fight as much as he used to do but based on ability and toughness he is a heavy- anyway thats still only 2 heavies on his card..

I see your new, but most people here don't take much stock in the voting results here because it's mostly people that don't post.

Lesson number two, learn the difference between there, they're and their or be prepared to be mocked like an idiot that doesn't know the difference between there, they're and their.
