Will we see Orr vs Lucic 2 next weekend (February 2, 2013)? Who wins?
I'm licking my chops in anticipation of this potential rematch.
Lucic has evolved and improved his fighting skills immensely since they last fought. It looked like Orr was on his way out after missing the better part of the past 2 seasons due to injury and AHL demotion only to come back with a vengeance early in this young season! Lucic started their first fight well, nearly shirted Orr and was winning briefly. Orr gained his composure and landed numerous unanswered punches to earn the decision win. Lucic showed his chin is quite durable during this clash of the titans. I'm not sure how the rematch plays out. I'm big fans of both players. Let's hope it's an entertaining bout that leaves the fans out of their seats cheering for these modern day warriors!!!! |

I'd love to see it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. That's 2 days after he is supposedly going to have to answer to Scott. It'd be surprising to see Lucic fight Scott and Orr back to back games.
The fight threads would be epic if that were to happen.

Lucic's fight legacy will go up if he fights both of those guys and even more if he gets the win. Lucic has the skills to beat Orr or Scott.

I'd be psyched if either the Scott fight or Orr fight happens. Lucic doesn't usually fight two goons a week. Coach Julien would probably start to get after him if he was taking himself off the ice too often to fight 4th liners. Lets not get too greedy and hope to see one of these fights.

No need for Looch to fight Orr again, unless he wants redemption from his last beating, but odds are will be Thorts instead.

I doubt Lucic will fight Orr. That's Thornton's job.
I'm more looking forward to the Buffalo game on Thursday. I feel like something may actually happen with Scott-Lucic. It's a long shot, but there's an outside chance. Last edited by Bruins29; 01-28-2013 at 01:17 PM. |

I would like to see Lucic drop them with Engelland i think that has the potential to be a awesome fight. Both guys throw pretty hard and seem to have solid chins. The Bruins and Pens don't play until March 12th thou.

Lucic-Orr is unlikely.
Orr-Thornton is a given. Lots of mutual respect among these 2 and neither ever tuns down a friendly offer to dance. Lucic-Scott, as I have stated in a different thread, is a real possibility IMO. Its the game before the inevitable Thornton-Orr showdown, so Lucic may want to give his teammate a night off and throw caution to the wind with Scott. I can see Scott trying to bait Chara, with Lucic jumping in for the dance. |
