Who will be best rookie fighter of 12/13?

I think that is one of these guys:
  • Peluso
  • Bordeleau
  • Gallant
  • McIlrath
  • Cody Beach
  • Gazdic
  • Finley
  • Randell
  • Latta
  • Devane
  • Tinordi

Not sure how many will actually play in the NHL this season...but out of that list I would say Bordeleau is the best fighter.

Bordeleau hasn't been cut yet, holy ****! I agree with RC and Chilly666, this year won't be fair because of the abbreviated camp, there's really only 3 guys likely to see time (albeit, 3 more than I thought there'd be).

If Bordeleau makes final cuts the Northwest Division gets very interesting very fast...

Minny: Konopka, Kassian
Colorado: Bordeleau, McLeod
Edmonton: Hordichuk, Eager, mayyyyybe Sutton though I wouldn't include him.
Calgary: Jackman
Vancouver: Vandermeer, Kassian, possibly Volpatti (if you count Sutton and Volpatti isn't the last cut)

Bordeleau did make the roster...will be announced tonight by league. Avs made final cuts two days ago.

Sutton is also done for the season with a knee injury

Nice! Must be an awesome feeling.

#MNWild coach Mike Yeo said Matt Kassian likely wont be playing tomorrow unless #avalanche dresses Patrick Bordeleau
There's an outside chance he'll get his first game tomorrow. Sounds like Kobasew might be out for the Avs.

Oh, and to extent this Frazer McLaren's a rookie, having only played 39 games over 3 years prior to this season but making the Sharks opening night. Not a true rookie but could be his first true season. He'll replace Winchester (who replaced him) in the depth chart.

Zach Sill might get some playing time with Pittsburgh this year.

McIlrath would need 2-3 injuries to the Rangers D to even have a chance of cracking into the NHL this year. But he's a good scrapper who also likes to stir the pot.

Bordeleau is the cream of the rookie crop, in my opinion.
