What's going to happen:

Scott chases Lucic...takes a penalty.

Thornton answers when Scott exits the box and proceeds to get the piss beat out of him.

Fixed it for you.

I have a more likely scenario for you.

Lucic runs Miller, with no response from Buffalo.

later that game, Scott turns down Thornton....then proceeds to fight Andrew Ference as he's closer to Scott's weight class.

Too real?

Here is the guaran- fukin- teed scenario: whatever happens... You somehow will make the Bruin the winner....

It's not like your post was anymore plausible than mine, at least my reply actually had substance...considering most of it actually happened.

Just like Peters 76, right?

While my post was hyperbole, it wasn't me "somehow making the Bruin the winner"...there's no "somehow" about it. What I said already happened sans the Ference part.

Don't give it out, if you can't take it back.

"Most" of your scenario happened (except of course 33% of it- your "hyperbole" [see; trolling BS]? Other than the Lucic running Miller part, what other part happened? Are you saying that Scott declined Thornton and fought someone of a lesser caliber? Didn't happen. Are you referring to years ago when Scott was in Chicago and they BOTH allegedly turned each other down on seperate occasions? Wait.... Let me guess.... Thornton never declined Scott?

What about Peters' post was so out of line ... The notion that Scott may actually beat a Bruin - in this case Thornton- in a fight? Yeah, that IS ridiculous I guess, because we all know they never lose! In fact, when Horton was getting his Brains scrambled he was actually using his face to hurt the hand of his opponent! Win __________(insert Bruin here).

What I was referring to with fighting a lesser fighter, was Scott's reputation for fighting below his level.

I chuckle at the rest of your post though....because I know if myself or another Bruins fan made the same post Peters did, you would jump down their throat. There's no denying that.

You know as well I do, Peters original post was hyperbole (trolling BS), that would garner a response.....but we'll just ignore that and just blame the Bruins homers. Seeing how that's the proverbial get out of jail free card around here.

Why is mentioning a Bruins player losing a fight (against a guy who is a legit monster) "trolling"?

You forgot the part where he chases Lucic around, then proceeds to "beat the piss" out of Thornton.

It's not that I don't think Scott could beat Thornton...I doubt he would "beat the piss" out of him....but nonetheless.

Just look at the tone of that post, and objectively tell me that wasn't looking for a reaction.

If I said Lucic will chase Scott around the ice to no avail, then Scott would fight Chara and get the piss beaten out of him.

Let's be honest, if a Bruins fan said that they would be swarmed by Sabres fans...with Flyers homers and a lone Blue Jacket fan riding their coattails all along the way.

What he said was that Scott chases Lucic around, ostensibly to exact revenge for all the havoc he has caused. He then said that Scott would get a penalty for it. Since your so keen on things that have actually happened in the past I'm sure you can understand that.... There is a history of coaches orders not to fight. I'm sure Julianne wouldn't want Lucic to risk injury 6 games into the short season.

He then said that as the enforcer, Thornton would answer the bell- which would be his job. Can we agree that none of that is out of the realm of possibility or likelihood ? It seems to me that the phrase "beat the piss out of" is what you found so objectionable, because after all- we know that is completely impossible.

Instead of taking issue with that, you spun some fictional scenario. I'm frankly not surprised.

Yes I know exactly what he was referring too with Lucic. So yes it is plausible, but it was meant as a troll. Hence why I made up a plausible scenario in response.

Lucic runs Miller without a response-Has happened
Scott turns down Thornton-May or may not be true..a few others feel he did as well
Scott fights Ference instead-Scott has a history of fighting smaller and lesser fighters instead of the top dog on that team.

Not anymore of a "fictional scenario" that Peters churned up.

Now I know you have the backing of the entire Flyers fanbase, but honestly would YOU have taken exception If I had made up a scenario in the tone that Peters 76 did?

It's just easier to call out a Bruins homer, especially when you know you have the usual suspects backing up your every word.
