Question of the day...

The first time Scott tries to go with Lucic, what happens?

They'd most likely not be on the ice at the same time. Maybe during a **** change. Looch I'm sure will probably laugh at him. Thorts may give big John a go though.

So Lucic Will fight a guy not on his level (Gaustad) to answer for trucking Miller, but not fight a legit heavyweight like Scott?

This is the toughest team?

Somewhere BGL is laughing...

Looch just wants to play hockey. Kidding. But yea, he accepted a challenge from Carkner, so who knows? I think if it came down to it, either Thornton or Chara would tank on Scott. We know the outcome of a Chara/Scott bout. Chara would tthrow a couple of punches, slip and drag Scott down, and get declared the winner of the fight.

The Looch/Miller incident aside.... isn't there some bad blood between Thorts and Big John from a couple years ago when Scott was on the Hawks? A war of words in the media?

As far as Scott's "effectiveness".... if he stops the Bruins from running over the Sabres then I guess his job is done.

Usually Charo is much bigger than whomever he is going to pull down and fall on. In this case they are similar size. It would be very interesting to see that battle and a great trade off for the Sabres.

Scott taking Chara to the box for 5 would probably get him a game star. Not an even exchange. But I'm all for fireworks, Chara/Scott! And I wouldn't mind seeing Looch take a poke at Miller in the crease. Bring on some bad blood!

I would love to throw the Avs in the ring but even if they call up Bordeleau it still would not put them anywhere close to the top.

I am staying with Boston.

Wishful thinking, probably won't happen. Scott went after Chara a couple times when he played for the Rags. I can't see Chara going with him, Lucic maybe, Thornton obviously.

i think because its a short season, teams are going to be playing their regular players more and the bruins have much more tough regular players than most as do the rangers.

Depending on the situation, as a leader and the C... Chara may not have a choice. That being said it would probably be a typical Charo bout.

Not sure I've seen anyone mention Tarnasky. If there are injuries he could very well get called up. He's not the toughest, but he will stick up for teammates, has size, and is at least as capable as a Campbell type.

Like the saying goes.... To be the champ you gotta beat the champ... And based on last season right now that's the Bruins. We will see if it stays that way!
