the "ran away" was in reference to a leaf homer posting utter nonsense and not responding until the next day, had nothing to do with the Leafs team or anything that happened in the game itself. I can't believe that had to be explained to you.

Erkine appologized to Simmonds about his hit, Simmonds accepted it and moved on just like when Shelley drilled McFraid. Shelley appologized and McFraid moved on. Shelley dropped Orr and will fight him as many times as he wants. Not getting the Asham thing, he stepped up and fought Orr.

Thornton has fought Shelley since he hit McQuaid. Which is an accomplishment in itself, considering seeing Jody on the ice is about as common as spotting Bigfoot. I guess Engelland to the Bruins is like Carkner to the Flyers eh?

Rinaldo fighting Thornton is 100% the Flyers fault for not carrying a HW. Rinaldo wouldn't have to fight Thornton if the Flyers had an inkling of toughness. It's nice to have a HW, so players like Lucic and Chara don't have to fight constantly. You should understand since the Flyers trotted out Grossman to get pounded by Parros.

Is "Euro captain" meant as a slight against the Bruins? Because this "Frenchie" is the Flyers captain.

Hockey crocs dig on "euro captain" Chara is quite pathetic. A Cup ring, Norris Trophy, and a top 5 defenseman in the league for years. Chara happens to be an inch taller than ogre, and at least 20 pounds lighter. And I believe he's told Scott to scram before, exact words I believe,"get out of here chump". When the Sabres release Scott in less than a month, the B's ought to pick him up as a joke, throw him in against Philly.
