Hope not because for the most part of the game, it seemed that way - Scrivens knocked around...

We'd start at Washington Square for wings and beer, then off to the game, to watch Rob Ray and Domi fight, and inevitably it ended with a Leafs loss. Always fun, but consistent outcome. Good fights, but the Leafs would always lose the game. Over time, Buffalo became my 2nd favourite team so I am delighted you have Scott onboard. Last edited by rbl2010; 02-21-2013 at 11:09 PM. McLaren's win over Scott pretty much solidifies that Leafs > Bruins. Only a retarded Bruins homer would think otherwise. Last edited by Muffin_Cakes; 02-21-2013 at 11:20 PM. |

Same brother! For all the cr_p you hear about some buffalo fans, here's a true story of class. In 1998/99 season my wife and I (who is very pregnant) are at a game where Domi and Ray go at least twice. On the trolley from the rink back to the Washington Square, a Buffalo fan gives her a seat. Meanwhile I have a Domi jersey on, and am standing right at the door, a guy in a Ray jersey with about 10 friends around him says to me: "So how safe do you feel leaning on the door after that?" So I say "not too FN good - in fact I'm kind of nervous" "I have a pregnant wife and we need to get back to Canada but I'd be happy to reschedule this at your convenience"....All of them laughed, got off at Washington Square, had beers, laughed some more and to this day I defend Buffalo fans every time someone sh_ts on them.

No Orr? No problem! The Leafs will still fight Scott with their Top Enforcer injured.
But sure, Bruins are tougher...(as Thornton still hasn't fought since getting dummied by Scott.)

Last night the Leafs had 3 guys in their line up that can fight. The Bruins had 7 guys that can fight. What number is bigger? Do you need my neighbor here to help you? ![]() The team with the most guys that can fight is the tougher team, not the team with 1 tough guy and 2 middleweights... FACT!

Bruins are nowhere close to the toughest team in the league anymore.
I've seen Hamilton and Paille elbowed in the face, Krejci boarded, my goalie run into 6 times in one game...and that's just vs the Sabres. I saw MacDermid fight the Leafs 3rd best fighter instead of stepping up in weight... The highlight of my season fight wise vs Carkner vs Lucic. I've seen Lucic draw with Gleason...Thornton get pummeled by Scott...Campbell pummelled by Bickel and Kaleta..Bruins have played 7 games in Feb. and only fought in two of them. They refuse to dictate anything or try to intimidate... I can't even get a ****ing McQuaid-Crombeen tilt for cryin out loud. Maybe I'm spoiled, but record aside (its hockeyfights.com so I don't give a **** about record) this Bruins squad is a major disappointment in the fight game. |

This isn't "who's playing the toughest today" it's "who's the toughest team in 2013". Maybe I'm wrong, but that means which team has the most guys on the roster that can fight. As far as overall roster, it's still the Bruins. And the reason they're not fighting much is strictly because they're winning. They've lost to ONE team this year in regulation and ONE team in overtime. Why mess with that?

I don't care about the perceived "toughest" roster. Show me on the ice. I'm not into resting on my laurels. Bruins had plenty of chance to act vs Buffalo, who were taking runs by the way, and they did nothing and still wound up losing the ****ing game. |
