Didn't Realize Carkner AND Boulton went to the Isles! Where's Trevor Gillies now?

By that logic the 2011-2012 Sabres were as tough as the Bruins because 14 guys on each team had FM's? Thorts had 33% of all Bruins fights. Your logic doesn't add up.
I see your point. You will admit though the Sabres picking up Scott and Ott has everything to do with the B's physical style, and the Miller incedent.

Isn't everything that happens a direct result of the Bruins, the center of the hockey universe?

I wonder how much giggling Lucic is gonna do when Thornton gets beat up because "coaches orders" won't let him fight his own battles.

Maybe Ott can break Campbell's nose again, lol.

Holy ****. I think I have said that on NUMEROUS occasions. Either you have memory issues or you just need constant reinforcement.

Great to see you're finally coming around cm and admitting that the B's are the center of the hockey universe.

.
Yes, yes it is. Including the extended lockout.

So your point was NOT true? Like I said.... 4th line Thorts had 33% of the Bruins fights.

That was last year. It's very possible that MacDermid plays on the 4th line with Thorts and Campbell in '13. We are talking about toughest teams in '13 right? I know, it's all speculation.

What about Paille? I hear Chris Bourque has been penciled in on the 3rd line in Carons spot.

I don't get the fascination with MacDermid anyway. He's average.... and he's been getting tooled in the A this season to boot.

There is the possibility that Paille gets bumped up to the 3rd line, if the B's want a bigger lineup. Bourque may be the guy, who knows. I'm hoping it's MacDermid, takes some of the responsibility off Thornton. All I know is Im looking forward to the B's/Sabres games.

Again with the MacDermid stuff.

He's a LHW at best. He's unproven at the NHL level and not too great at the AHL level. He's not even big. He may be able to handle Thorts "light work", but in no way shape or form could he take any "responsibility" off him against any legit HW.

I'll say that the Lightning will NOT be the toughest team.

They picked up BJ Crombeen who is a lot better at being a player's union rep than he is at being a tough guy, willing though, at least they got someone who will fight fairly regularly.

Add in Malone, Vinny, and .....awww fock, never mind.

Hard to say who is the toughest team, really, it's all on paper and not knowing who will play with the big club makes it tough but Boston probably has the grittiest lineup and has a gritty attitude.

Buffalo and the Islanders will make some noise. I love seeing teams with 2+ tough guys in their lineup, gives us hope that fighting will not go the way of the dodo.

I agree, someone needs to be able to handle the Carcillos of the league.

J/K. But not really because MacDermind fighting NHL heavies on the regular probably isn't in his best interest.
