Has to be the Leafs now. The Bruins have been playing like a bunch of girls since Scott beat down Thornton.

It's hard to say who's the toughest team as of now, need a little bit of a bigger sample size..no defining moments as of now IMO.

One thing I know is that the Stars aren't the toughest, that team is a bunch of muffin.....I mean cupcakes.

I think the only thing the Leafs are missing is a true ' pest '. If they had someone out there instigating other teams and getting under their skin, causing commotion..

Well you haven't seen any Leaf games then because that's Leo Komarov.

I don't think anyone other than Boston homers would argue that the Leafs aren't the toughest team right now, which they are. Can't even say it's only their 4th line anymore since Orr has been rolling on the 3rd.

Brandon Prust ain't walking through that door. Not that he's a good fighter anyways....

Gotta go with the Leafs now.

Colton Orr, Mike Brown, Frazer McLaren and Mark Fraser?

All dressing with Colt on the 3rd line?

No one beats that.

What the hell are you talking about in this thread?

Who do you think is the toughest team in the league? Don't avoid the question.

Obviously he's upset that Boston is no longer alone at the top when it comes to toughness.

Boston does not compare to Toronto's current lineup. The two teams don't play until March 7, but I expect Toronto will make an indisputable case for toughest team on that day, if not before.

IMO it's not just the lineup, it's if they have been playing a physical, punishing and intimidating style, and the Bruins just haven't done that this season. Not a slam, not trolling, it's just a fact.

I'm not a Leaf fan at all but I can't make a legit arguement at this time for anybody but the Leafs as the toughest team in the league so far. 4 guys who are all enforcers(though Brown and Fraser can do more)and who play almost every night is hard to beat. And before you start complaining that Fraser is'nt an enforcer, that was a role he assumed on the Marlies when Orr was'nt around.

I was mocking the Stars clown above me, it was about time to call out that dope for constantly taking shots at the Bruins. Also, I was referring to your sig time to let it go, Prust is made out be some sort of savior by some on this site.

As for the toughest team...it could be a handful of teams, nobody has separated themselves from the pack IMO. I know the Leafs are "In" right now, so anything to the contrary will garner backlash.

Not at all. The more the merrier! Have I suggested otherwise?

Yeah, this will be a big game in that regard. We'll see the Bruins have already essentially faced the current Leafs line-up minus Brown. The Bruins also didn't have Thornton, should be an interesting one. Nobody thinks any teams from the West are in the running?
