It's hard to say who's the toughest team as of now, need a little bit of a bigger sample size..no defining moments as of now IMO.
One thing I know is that the Stars aren't the toughest, that team is a bunch of muffin.....I mean cupcakes.

I don't think anyone other than Boston homers would argue that the Leafs aren't the toughest team right now, which they are. Can't even say it's only their 4th line anymore since Orr has been rolling on the 3rd.

Gotta go with the Leafs now.
Colton Orr, Mike Brown, Frazer McLaren and Mark Fraser? All dressing with Colt on the 3rd line? No one beats that.

What the hell are you talking about in this thread? Who do you think is the toughest team in the league? Don't avoid the question.

Boston does not compare to Toronto's current lineup. The two teams don't play until March 7, but I expect Toronto will make an indisputable case for toughest team on that day, if not before.

IMO it's not just the lineup, it's if they have been playing a physical, punishing and intimidating style, and the Bruins just haven't done that this season. Not a slam, not trolling, it's just a fact.

As for the toughest team...it could be a handful of teams, nobody has separated themselves from the pack IMO. I know the Leafs are "In" right now, so anything to the contrary will garner backlash. Quote:
Yeah, this will be a big game in that regard. We'll see the Bruins have already essentially faced the current Leafs line-up minus Brown. The Bruins also didn't have Thornton, should be an interesting one. Nobody thinks any teams from the West are in the running?
