i think what I was going for when starting this thread was noting simmonds as an emerging force, with amazing raw brawling talents (you can see it in his fight vs prust, but moreso in others he wins). if he wasn't a very good player on the ice, he'd have a lot more time to perfect his fighting technique.

either way, this was a nice welcome to the forum, glad i strolled on by. might have to stay awhile (sorry mcginty), your already fun as **** to troll

I see you gave Subban a pass in the other thread for turning down multiple fights from the Bruins because he is much more talented than the challengers, well let me use that same excuse here......Lucic has more talent in his Stanley cup ring finger than Laraque.

Not to mention the Bruins captain fought Shelley, in fact Chara is the only one to oblige Shelley thus far.

Hypothetical question: What other captain in the NHL would fight Shelley? It's amazing the crap he get's on this site.

Bruins fans see Lucic as one of the best power forwards in the league(which he is btw), it's funny because I have never seen Simmonds pumped up as much as he is on this forum. I wonder if it had anything to do with him going from LA to Philly?

hes a good scrapper but there are better p4p scrappers in the league both smaller guys and bigger. hes 185. look at him on 24/7 hes not a small guy at all.

he is really skinny, though... he is just long, and lean, and uses his reach and length well.

his punches are looking like a boxer's now, more than not, and looks like he has improved his grappling strength

he does look to have good boxing. very common for black guys to be naturally good obviously. he is very lean and has a lot of muscle. Hes not tiny though. its funny how a guy goes to the flyers, gets press on 24/7 and drops a guy on tampon bay and starts getting a bunch of p4p stuff. hes solid tough guy who is scoring and fighting. Love that breed. I would take him anyday and a lot of Kings fans are really bummed. This threat just seems to jump the gun a little for me.

well, in his defense, he did drop a guy late last year if i recall (EDIT Buillion)... he also really fought prust to a draw, though this site seems to give it to prust...

he is playing strong, pretty thorough on the ice... not sure what it has to do with blackness, though
