hands down. Shawn Thornton is the best right now. The best fighter with skill to ever play the game was Randy McKay.

Really? Ill give it to you that they may be better fighters but no way are they better players. Thornton had 11 points last year while Asham had 20. Erskine and Walker maybe are better defensively but no where near him offensively. Erskine isnt even that good on Defense.

can't really compare Asham too Erskine and Walker, both are shut down defensemen and won't be putting up alot of points, but Saying Thornton (unless talking about Joe of course) is better then Asham is a laugh
