Because you don't like him?

He gets dropped by belak and he goes from top 3 to off the top ten? I disagree but it appears your only doing it for fighters you like.

It's not about like it's that he is a better fighter and has a better card than half your list.

better card than half? maybe.better fighter?c'mon,he never does any damage,he never drops a guy goin toe 2 toe, he just hugs for a bit pulls ya in tight and throws those wild looping lefts that rarely do anything, but make the crowd go YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! i think we might have to agree to disagree on this one.

#10-Riley Cote-likes it toe-to-toe...

Ask Riley Cote if Brashear does any damage.

WHAT?Brash is one of the Best Fighters ever, one of the best technique fighters and he is the best when it comes to the infight.

he beat downey, neil and cote badley.

okay he lost to belak, but its okay, nobody won all his fights.

and btw:
this is a thread for the actually top 10# fighters this season.

At this point of the season...

1. Wade Belak - The Brashear dismantling put the crown on a good season. Looks stronger and nastier than ever.
2. Colton Orr - Although the loss he took at the hands of Godard, great season after a slow start. Good showing against Brash and beating Godard x2.
3. Eric Godard - MacIntyre, Orr and Fritz...
4. Donald Brashear - Still a force. Belak put him down one notch.
5. Georges Laraque - Still a force?
6. Derek Boogaard - ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.
7. George Parros - knows his job, decent win%.
8. Cam Janssen - Just felt he's had a good enough season to fit here, semi-poor fightcard though.
9. Matt Walker - Under the radar guy, hard to beat.
10. Jody Shelley - Faded away after a good start.
11. Mike Rupp - I may be mischevious, but the guy has never impressed me, he's so boring i don't bother watching his fights, could probably trade place with Janssen or Walker if i made an effort.
12. Raitis Ivanans - ZZZzzzz, i hope kamazinsh will forgive my lack of generosity here.

At last:

Honorable mention - Milan Lucic...

Just kidding.

really? so am i suppose to put who other people want on their list on my list? sober up! put brash on your stinkin list,i,quite obviously, think that brashear is a garbage goon, you think hes good?right on man. i cant make it any clearer that if i was gm of a team with 18 scrappers on it,brashear would not be on it.i think he is a terrible fighter, and adds zero entertainment value because of his garbage technique.therefore no brash. peace

Basing this list on past and present merit -

1. Georges Laraque
2. Wade Belak
3. Donald Brashear
4. Colton Orr
5. Eric Godard
6. Derek Boogaard
7. George Parros
8. Jody Shelley
9. Eric Boulton
10. Raitis Ivanans

The last four are pretty much interchangeable.

No doubt McGrattan would be top five if he'd played all season. Big Mac and Fritz would be in it somewhere as well.

Pretty much in agreement on 1-7. Good logic in ranking those players. I'd put Shelley at 8, Boulton at 9 and either Janssen/Thornton at 10. Guys like Fritz, McGrattan and MacIntyre just haven't been active enough due to lack of playing time unfortunately.

1. George Laraque Still the champ until further notice.
2. Wade Belak Seemed under the radar until he KO'd Brashear
3. Donald Brashear Still can dominate. He'll be back.
4. Colton Orr Throws with intent.
5. Eric Godard Still impresses me.
6. Derek Boogaard Gotta be a homer a little bit.
7. Cam Janssen So fun to watch.
8. Riley Cote 20 fighting majors. Almost double of most of the list.
9. George Parros Would love him on my team
10. Jody Shelley Takes on anybody willingly.

Honorable Mention
Andrew Peters Just because somebody will be mad if I don't put him on
Zack Stortini 20 FM as well
Krys Barch FEARLESS
Shawn Thornton Beat Laraque early this year gets some credit

#1- Eric Godard- the only sure thing
#2- Colton Orr- high percentage of exiting fights
#3-Wade Belak- handles everyone...everyone.
#4-Jody Shelley-always involved.
#5-Derek Boogaard-intimidation
#6-George Parros-always good times with george.
#7-Raitis Ivanans-rarely loses
#8-Brian Mcgratton-I know...but hes back now.
#9-Darcy Hordichuk-game for anyone,anytime.
#10-Riley Cote-likes it toe-to-toe...

-Honourable Mention_
-no george laraque cause he dosent really act like an enforcer, you gotta do more than win some fights and follow milan lucic around the ice for 5 minutes.
-andrew peters could be on my list but for the amount he plays, i choose mcgratton.
-eric boulton
-david koci
-shawn thornton
-cam jannsen
-zach stortini (he sucks at fighting, but at least he goes everyone)
-andre roy
-krys barch
-steve macintyre(needs a regular spot)
no brash, laraque, cote at 8, godard at 1. try again.
