Yes and he cleared, but he played and fought tonight.

Winchester is on a PTO with San Jose.

When he's opposite someone dangerous, then we'll see what he has to offer. We'll see if he's willing to take the plunge.

I say he doesn't.
So, let's say that Todd Fedoruk isn't willing to go against guys like Steve Mac or Brian McGrattan... well, so what?
Who, in Canucks' actual roster, can go against those guys? Tanner Glass? lmfao. If Todd Fedoruk makes it with the Canucks, he'll be the toughest player of the team. So what's wrong if he makes it? He could stick to fight players like Darcy Hordichuk, Krys Barch and Zack Stortini, which are not so dangerous if compared to Steve Mac.

Where's the problem if Fedoruk comes back and sticks to fighting against players that are less dangerous than them he used to fight before? Where's the problem if he fights 20-30 range fighters instead of going against the top tens?

The problem is that his health could be in peril, even if he's too punch drunk to realize it. He had his face broken once, does he want it broken again? As for the Canucks, did'nt getting bullied by the Bruins teach them anything? Or do you expect Fedoruk(assuming he see's the ice in the playoffs)to stand up to the physical challenge of Lucic, Thornton, Chara, etc? By the way FCM, Glass is in Winnipeg now.

He knows about his health. If he didn't think he could do it, then he probably wouldn't. What if he gets his face broken again? Well that's his decision, at least he has the balls to put it on the line.

i was suprised todd didnt get the old pat on the back after JFJ went to town on mike duco. I have been pretty impressed with todd so far. hopefully he gets a few more games to really showcase himself. and the canucks really consider signing him. like said earlier; even if he gets the label light heavy, in my stand point that is better than a bunch of middles. problem being for todd, im thinking is mike duco , steve pinizzatto, and aaron volpatti have him beat for that extra spot.
canucks play the ducks again, im thinking he'll (Todd Fedoruk) get that game to settle some scores....... but then ducks will probably put in mcgrattan and maybe parros aswell. should be a good game .

on a side note it was kinda a kick in the nutts watching brad winchester score and gets some high hits with elbows and such and nobody do anything about it, kinda reminded me of the finals. glad to see roussell go with doug murray.would of liked to see todd in the game last night.

Dude I am a Sharks fan and I disliek Winchest but maybe I have to start to let him grow on me. You know he was pushing extra hard last night.

Duco has been running around a lot. He is grinding hard nad might make the team. Fridge has not gotten cut yet which makes me think he will be the 13th forward, he might see 35-45 games!

Volplatti throwing his weight around ass well.

These Vancover guys know the team lacks toughness and are bringing it this preseason to give them an edge to make the team.

I just heard today that real reason todd took a year off hockey was.. that he was part of the special task force that captured and killed bin laden, also he wasnt cut from the canucks but asked to go on some secrete james bond mission , so he had to say say no for one more year + . All in between recording some albums with 2pac. Todd fedoruk should have a few cameos in his next album. in stores soon.

I'm actually surprised a team like the canucks would' nt keep him around and give him a legit shot. They have great talent and absolutely no one around to protect it, well I guess you can say the new NHL does. They have grit and agitators as well but those guys can not do what they do best all the time when they know if they cross the line to far their will be a price to pay. Outside of the top 5-6 guys out their Fedoruk could hang with the others. More importanly he is a very good skater for a HW and can actually get to the hits and finish them. Is he playing anywhere?

So fustrating as a canuck fan. Probably the thing I bitch about the most. I was excited at the thought of todd comin in. despite what everyone else was sayin. Believe me when my canucks cheap shot anyone. I get pissed and hope a team bullies the canucks.i will never get used to not having an enforcer on the team. Dont care if he is on his last legs.Canucks still need a tough guy.
