Yes I think the fight will happen and Richards should take this tilt based upon experience. It would have been nice to see Richards show a little more emotion during that scrum with PK but with the zebras in between them it was what it was.

C'mon the Flyers fans have a GREAT fan base, but to say they are the "most knoweldegable, passionate...fan bases in the NHL" is crazy talk.

You Flyers fans here are just as homeristic as the Bruins fans. Your no more knowledgable than anyone else.

As much as I hate to say it, there is no fan base more passionate about their team in North America than the Montreal Canadiens fans. In Philly, you got the Eagles, Phillies and 76ers. In Monreal the got the Habs, thats it. Have you ever been to a home game in Montreal? I have, its crazy. It puts Red Sox Nation to shame.

And I'm pretty sure they were a few fights in the NHL between the years 1903 and 1967. The Flyers didn't invent fighting . Be real, the Broad Street Bullies of the 70's were no more or less tough than the Big Bad Bruins.

To get back on point, I hope they fight as I see two players in desperate need of a beating!
As an independent objective observer and someone who's watched hockey longer than you've been alive I can shed some light on this. The Flyer fans are much more passionate AND knowledgable than the B's fans. When it comes to homerism there can be no bigger homer fan base than a fan base who defends the most annoying play by play guy in the game in Edwards.

The "Big Bad Bruins" don't hold a candle in terms of overall toughness compared to the legend that is the Broad Street Bullies. I know it's a tough pill for some of you to swallow, but it's the truth.

C'mon guy be real...I dont want to hijack this thread but..

There are tons of videos of fights between these two teams back in the day, and they are pretty even.

The Flyers won more cups, but as far as toughness they were a close as clos can be...

Clearly you can't even read, look at everything I said about Richards, not a bad thing at all. You brought me into it, and when I call you out you and . I've said everything I need to say to you.

To quote what some guy said, this is a very ironic post, and it reeks of bull****. Thanks for proving my point further.

I hope PK shuts Richards whiney trap with a nice uppercut. Richards needs to take the tampon out of his ass & just play hockey.

You're funny. I almost lost my lunch, I was laughing so hard at the crap you wrote. If you're saying the Flyer fanbase is the most knowledgeable and passionate about Bieber, then ok, your right. But if you were referring to the game of hockey, then what I have seen in here from many (not all) of the FLyer fans in here doesn't pass for knowledge or passion. It amounts to lunacy of the highest order, a gross display of a lack of even marginal knowledge and insight into the team and game, and quite often a weird outpouring of man love for Carcillo.

Without some of you Flyer fans the collective IQ of this place would rise dramatically. You're holding us all down, little fella.

The moreI think about this, the more I believe that no serious fan of the GAME would have written the garbage you wrote. So my only conclusion is that before you sat down to write it, you must've taken a nasty tumble down the steps, head first, to your basement boy-cave at your mom's house. You may be suffering from a severe concussion. Seek medical help immediately, before you post anything else.

I wasn't just talking about the 70's. I'm talking about all eras. The Flyers have physically dominated the Bruins (as well as all teams).

Habib, because you disagree with me and are impervious to logic, then I have to be right.

It's funny that you should mention that, because it was a few years before then that the game of hockey was changed forever, and watered down badly, when the NHL expanded from the original six teams.

So the sub-par Flyers (allegedly) dominated sub-par teams since then is completely meaningless. I mean, beating up defenceless Swedes? C'mon, how manly is that?

Whereas the Islanders in their heyday got your guys peeing in their panties during the warmup skate. Nothing would make a Flyer feel more butch than a Swede he could pound on. Sheesh, you must be really young. Maybe you got a Flyers jersey for Christmas or something, and now you think it makes you an expert.

You have no factual support for your position.
