But since you are begging for actual opinions, who here has seen Subban fight? Are you asking people to make a judgment about something no one has seen?

Richards SHOULD win just from experience, but Subban may be a decent fighter, no one knows because he doesn't ever show it. The fact is Subban wanted nothing to do with Richards last game, and Richards going public with how Subban likes to be a pest who runs his mouth may be the only way of making him actually drop his gloves doesn't bode well for this match up even happening. I hope Subban proves me wrong and accepts the challenge next time Richards wants to fight him.

Until then, the logical answer is Richards, and I think common sense would lead you to that conclusion, fatte.

Yes when I posed the question I did let it be known how I feel about Richards habit of going to the media to chirp, so what? With that said thanks for answering the question, I feel the question is still legitimate even without Subban's lack of history fighting (he had a few fights in the minors) It's not like Richards is a great fighter either so I would say it's pretty even IMO. I don't think this fight is a clear cut as your making it seem chump, it's also debatable who actually wanted that fight more I wouldn't automatically assume that Richards was the one forcing the issue.

I'm not feigning innocence I don't like how Richards has gone to the media to criticize players and teams he should just settle his business on the ice.

As much as I hate to say it, there is no fan base more passionate about their team in North America than the Montreal Canadiens fans. In Philly, you got the Eagles, Phillies and 76ers. In Monreal the got the Habs,thats it. Have you ever been to a home game in Montreal? I have, its crazy. It puts Red Sox Nation to shame.

And I'm pretty sure they were a few fights in the NHL between the years 1903 and 1967. The Flyers didn't invent fighting . Be real,the Broad Street Bullies of the 70's were no more or less tough than the Big Bad Bruins.
