Does Sestito count as a rookie? Anyway my list probably is'nt much different than the others.

1)Bollig-very active and good at it. I do take umbrage with his two "wins"(draw at least once)over Reaves.
2)Rinaldo-not very good at it but even more willing than Bollig. Reminds me of Carbomb back in the day.
3)Kassian(Matt)- Good and willing. Needs more partners and ice time
4)Bickell-Surprising. Not all that good but does seem willing.
5)Kassian(Zack)-Not all that active due to ice time/call ups but is willing and may have the most over-all talent over all these guys.

How could anyone put Rinaldo over Bickel?

So then, by that logic, Brian McGrattan shouldn't even be considered as the top HW in the league this season since he's only been in 6 fights.

It was'nt all that hard actually. Rinaldo has more fights than Bickel this year and at every level that he's played at. Its more a part of his game than it is of Bickels. There would'nt be a Rangers bia's showing in your post would there?

This thread definitely does NOT take past years into account, but if you want to add Bickel's NHL and AHL fights from this year and do the same with Rinaldo, look who has more then.

Let's see how many people from neither city put Rinaldo over Bickel. Honestly, I don't see how anyone could. Rinaldo is willing and that's about it.

Rinaldo: 3-8-3 in 59 Games

Bickel 7-2-2 in 44 Games

I will just say this if there is a more potent, and devastating uppercut in the game right now then the Blackhawks Bollig I have yet to see it, this kid is scrappy, tough, and seems to actually enjoy fighting, what is it now like 8 fights in 11 games??? Bollig rookie fighter of the year hands down.

There is no logic in that what so ever, don't be a retard. McGratton isn't a rookie, it's not his fault he gets scratched all the time.

If you think Kassian deserves it then go with it, I picked Bollig. It's not something to argue about.

Yep, that is a Rangers jersey in your avatar. And why your objectivity went out the window. And if you read the posts, I'm not the only one putting Rinaldo over Bickel.

That's probably because Matt Kassian is 6'4-6'5. He's tried to get McLeod to go repeatedly. Hard for him to find someone who will fight him nowadays.

Including Hockey Doc's opinion makes your argument lose all of its credibility. He is the only one who said that. Go ahead and make a Bickel vs. Rinaldo (fighting ONLY) thread and see who people think deserve rookie fighter of the year more between those two.

Also you clearly chose to ignore my post and the stats and facts I posted in it.

I agree and I indicated in my first post in the thread that Bollig is the runaway winner to me.

I did'nt ignore your stats. Rinaldo has more fights this year. Thanking for proving my point. Glad to see you've come around. Now if you would only do something about your avatar..........

Ok if more fights is all that counts then I guess Rinaldo beats Bollig too. Flawless logic.
