the fact is cote goes toe to toe with the best of the best and still does not get knocked out. carcillo fights the same way but with weaker opponents. cote would win majority of the fights hands down.

i would say 7-1-2 in favor of cote
lol, i think you have me mixed up with someone else, I dont hate Cote, he's just a terrible fighter.
I don't give two ****s if he goes to toe to toe with the best of them, the dude is going to get his face broken badly one day.
The point of a fight, is to win. Going toe to toe with a guy who could put you out of a job forever isn't exciting, its just stupid.

Carcillo is not afraid of anyone, such a silly statement.
Ah come on Wildy I said it in the exact post that you quoted. I was talking about his AHL days. When he played in Wiles-Barre, he had Bonvie to shoulder most of the dirty work. I also didn't say he was afraid of Cote back then, I said he avoided Cote because it was Bonvie's job to take Cote off the ice.

What would his job be if he didn't fight those guys? You're a hater, just admit it.

I think this has the potential to be a very good fight, but if I had to lean one way it would be towards Riley Cote.

And yet if you look at the post I quoted you on in the bigger dissapointment thread, you actually stated some guys love to get punched in the face as if that was some kind of great way to "get into a fight" and find that adrenaline rush...and you sort of mocked BGL for not wanting to go toe to toe.

Both guys are overrated, but Riley Cote can't even beat average fighters.
Win Daniel Carcillo

Your all fukken wrong. If these two faced off right now they both win 10 out of 10 times each.

What a bunch of fukkin goofs this site has let sign up where half you twats try and dirt call two exciting fighters. The title didn't say who would win to become the Heavyweight Champion of the league and a few of you Flyer hating kunts can't even let your hatred go and just compare the fight without throwing your two cents in about how bad they are. Sit back and watch as the rest of the league filters out anything that resembles toughness on your ***** teams.

I just joke, your all awesome...I love you

Would be very close but Cote would take it 4-3-3.

Doesn't matter though, cause they both kick hardcore ass.

You're right. Andre Roy, Brian McGrattan and Eric Godard are all above average.

It's always an edge to the guy Cote is fighting, unless it Brash or BGL, then it's a clear loss.

Cote is not over rated he is just liked because he fights regularly and fights with an open style unlike a lot of the fighters in the NHL these days.. Most people see Cote as out side the top 10 and probable somewhere between 10-15 in the rankings.. Cote can hang with most top heavyweights and has beating quite a few of the tougher guys in the NHL..

Brian McGrattan
Eric Godard
Andre Peters X 2
Mike Rupp X 2
Jody Shelley
Andre Roy

Cote regularly fights the biggest and best guys in the NHL and that's why he has a lot of loses on his record, but when you watch a lot of his fights a lot of the loses are edges.. If Cote stuck to fighting guys around his size his win % would rocket up.. Cote to me is in the same class as Hordichuk, Janssen, Boulton, Thornton and the like, who are smaller heavweight's but good enough to hang with the big boys as well..

Carcillo I don't think could hang with the heavyweights at all, but he is a good fighter in his class as well and does well against other middle weights and light heavyweights..

On the question of who would win between the two? Cote would win a series 6 wins to Cote / 2 win to Carcillo / 2 draws... Cote would be to much for Carcillo who struggles with the tougher guys he has fought so far like Hordichuk and Ivanans.
