He has had some fights where he dominated and tossed Bryan McCabe around like a toy.

i think that he could swing with anyone in the league and do very well.

IMO he could be top 10 if he fought more

Chara

he is a huge guy with a reach advantage on anyone he fights. I think if Worrel, Cairns, Domi, and many other were 6'9 they would pump him! But that it is not his fault he is huge! He has a chance to take anyone he fights!

Chara is a big bastard with a long reach, but I've seen him lose to many enforcers around the league. He's tough, but not top 10 or 15 by any means.

It would be hilarious to see Jason Blake try to take on Chara

chara gets the job done usually. pretty willing to go for a euro too, i like that.

however, i hate this guy. so giant and awkard and uncordinated, he just looks funny. this game is supposed to be smooth and fast and this clown looks like he should be playing in the NBA with the other human freaks.

his game has improved immensely since his days in long island, and he is a very effective defenceman who can control a line well. he has improved in all areas, quite valubale to the sens i think, especially since he was just a throw in with the spezza and yashin deal.

A 5. Reminds me of Malakov, usually holds his own. For a big man he is more stable than say McKenna.

I gives him a 5 outta 10. Since with his size he should be punishing everyone he faces. But he doesn't

He is a 6 outta 10 , with the potential of 8 or 9 if he would be more aggressive in his fights. With his size being able to man handle guys with his reach isn't enough, he needs to dominate guys more like he should beable to.

imo if you take away this guys height he has nothing. He relies on locking guys out and using his reach. How good is his jaw?

When you take into account his reach height and weight advantages over virtually every player in the NHL then he only ranks as a 5 out of 10 for me, he has no real fighting skills if you are talking about enforcing, he throws punches with no co-ordination and if he had to fight the likes of Brashear, Belak, Johnston, Brookbank. Cairns etc he would lose. Still though, a good powerful guy to have when the going gets tough. Maybe he would fight more and improve if he wasn't such a good player for the Sens, good solid at the blue line and very effective going forward.

7 as a fighter, 8.5 as a D

It's funny to read comments like "if he was not that big".

Well, he is that big.

Would you say "if he was not that strong and punch that hard, he would not be..."?

That's kinda ridiculous to me.
