How about neither?
Parros had an OK year with lots of fights and is on most top 10's, and BGL remains the best fighter in the league. |

Who in the NHL beats him in a ten fight series? Answer: Nobody He's the champ. He's the best fighter in the league. |

Brashear. Laraque has never beat him. Laraque is not the champ, he's living off reputation now, and that's not enough.

http://www.dropyourgloves.com/Fights...ortBy=Opponent Scroll down a bit to where Laraque's name is. Also, in that vid, it never showed Brashear vs Laraque Round 1, where Brashear beat the **** out of Laraque. Brashear is the best. Deal with it.

All their fights have been poor except for 2 and most have been a few weak punches and then fall to the ice. The only two good fights were the one below which Brashear really takes it to Laraque, and the one that creates so much debate.. Laraque takes it to Brashear but gets put down at the end..
Here's a missing fight from the ones shown. In a 10 fight series I think it would be 50/50 either way. But with only a couple of good fights. |

The person I rate as most disappointing this season was Andrew Peters.. I think he is a top 10 guy when he fights good, but the last two seasons he has been poor...

If Andrew Peters had a bad year, than certainly Riley Cote did as well.

Big difference being that Peters used to be a top fighters for a few season's in most peoples top 10's with win over a lot of other good fighters. So Peters fall down the ladder is more noticeable than Cote, who has stayed at around the same level since he has been in the NHL..

The fight in slo-mo really helped actually. If you watched it, Laraque only landed one or two quality blows and at the same time was rag-dolling Brashear. However, Brashear weathered the storm and got Laraque with two nice lefts. It doesn't matter if they hit helmet or not, they can still hurt. Also, it doesn't matter that Laraque was beating Brashear through most of it, Brashear still won. If I hit you 10 times and you hit me once to end the fight. You win.
