laraque, if he is the champ of the league he needed to prove that. he wasn't active at all.

Wrong ^^

He was actually pretty active this year. You can't fight when your injured
He was on road for 20+ fights, more then most enforcers this season.
This is a prime example of how Laraque dislikers ignore the facts.

It's like claiming DJ King had a horrible year because he barely had any fights.

I know what you mean..

I think next year will tell where Laraque is in his career.

BGL beat up some guys..what did Parros do? Get beat up?

Also, nearly 10 fights in about 30 games or so...for BGL..that isnt being quite so inactive.

I don't think you can be disappointed with a guy with 23 FM on in a year (Parros). If BGL was healthy he would have been his dominant self, as usual.

I have to say I'm a bit perplexed by the question. I was a big Parros critic here at the outset of his career but he just keeps getting better at his "craft" IMO. His improvement is marked. Laraque is who he is, there really is nothing left he needs to prove to anyone at this juncture. He's a very wealthy man and remains bad day at the office for any rival tough guy who wishes to poke at a Grizzly bear. He's a monster who - like Playfair, Brown, McKenzie, Richter etc. - is pretty much just happily a well paid nuclear deterrent at this stage of his career. Disappointing would be Peters, McGrattan, Boogaard but injuries bring all athletes to their knees.

Parros is getting better every year, and he honor the code.

IMO 7-1-1.

He was injured for the better half of the season, give him a break. Most guys backed down from fighting him anyways. How is he suppose to have Brashear on his fight card? Brashear wouldnt fight him last time they played.. same with the whole Boston roster, ect..

This is easy. Parros...i didnt expect anything from Laraque. I can't believe so many message boards about him. Lets move on. He's past his best...and his best was OK. Brashear still best HW

Parros had some bad losses but the most disappointing is Laraque, without question. He's becoming more pathetic year after year. I wish he had the same mentality that he had in the late 90's, early 2000's.

Laraque, for the amount of games he played in had a decent amount of fights.

Averaging a fight ever four games is quite high for Laraque.
