He is a HW no doubt, and probably could/will crack the top ten this year (not like the top ten this year means anything), but in terms of his ability, I'd consider him a lower tier HW. However, he has improved his fighting ability.

I know. I was referring to some fans that turn a 4 page thread into a 20 page thread with their back and forth.

Anyway, back to the topic, Rupp is a HW. He has defiitely improved and proved it the last few years.

Rupp wasn't bad this season, I think he is a good fit for the Rangers. He can play the game and is a decent fighter.

I think Rupp is a top 10 fighter in the 'New' NHL, lower tier of course, the thing that is annoying about Rupper is that he is so up and down, one minute he is knocking down Shawn Thornton, then next he is losing to Chris Thorburn (ok, he is having a great year but even so), when he is up for a scrap, boy can he go, just wished we'd see the mean streak a little more.
