Lucic Or Simmonds?

Saw this debate in the Simmonds pound for pound thread.

I'll just simply pose the question: Who would you rather have?

(Considering all facets of the game. Not just fighting ability....)

I think Simmonds will be a better player than Lucic, but Lucic actually is the best mix of fighting skills, toughness, size and hockey skills. I take Lucic.

Another good thread, FattPatt.

Simmonds scored more goals while also dropping the gloves more than Lucic this past season (put Simmonds on the first line and who knows how many assists he would have). But at this point in time I would take Lucic, as long as he promises to start hitting people again. They both disappeared in the playoffs, which is a shame.

Ask this question in two years and I think the answers might be a little different.

Simmonds is a good young player. But, I'd take Lucic on fighting ability alone. Why? Because I value that.

Simmonds is better and here' s why..
He had more goals than Lucic 28-26
He had more fights than Lucic 10-6
He has more playoff goals than Lucic 1-0
He is about 4" and 50#'s less than Lucic
He gets LESS ice time than Lucic 17:02 - 16:09
He doesn't yell at his girlfriend at dunkin donuts and say douchie things like "do you know who I am" when the cops show up
He's never been suspended
He's never turned down George LaRaque

Beisdes Lucic has FIVE goals in his last 35 playoff games. I think he is trending downward to be honest.

Lucic has 61 points and Simmonds 49.
Lucic's fight card is better than Simmonds.
Playoff goals...really? Simmonds played 11 games and Lucic played 7 games.
Simmonds never was challenged by George and Lucic would kill him easily.

Your points on why Simmonds is better is really stupid.
