Crow - No offense to you and Sukoshi, but it's 'n, not n'. This bothers me. A lot.

Oh, and Lucic would own Asham in a ten-fight series.

I think this is difficult to say and is interesting thread.
Asham has fought more than Lucic but he isnt so so skilled fighter.
Lucic can to throw them pretty well.
I say draw.

Eager didn't beat Lucic. And it's no secret that every dog has his day. Lucic beats Eager more often than not and I'm sure a majority of people would agree with that statement.

Asham is tougher than Neil? Again I like Asham a lot but that's just a dumb comment. Obviously you have a different opinion and that's fine. It isn't like Asham has some strong record against more elite competition.

Lucic would take a series between them and I'm a Flyers fan and big Asham fan as well.. Lucic fast burst of right hands and longer reach would cause Asham all kinds of problems.. I even think Lucic would give Cote a run for his money in a ten fight series, and in a couple more seasons I think Lucic will be considered a heavyweight on here by the majority. At the minute I rank him like I rank Asham as a good light heavyweight.

Asham would do better than alot of guys seem to think but due to the size advantage for Looch I would give him a 1-3 fight margin in this series.

In a couple of more seasons? What when he gets older? He's a heavy now, regardless of who he decides to fight.

As for the question, I think Lucic would win the majority of fights with Asham.

Does that make them middles?

Your logic in this one is faulty to say the least...
Light heavyweights acting as the teams heavyweight? Good enough fighters to take on the other teams heavies. Just because they are the #1 guy on their respective teams, does not mean they are "heavyweights". What happens if a team has a #1 guy (superb fighter) who is 5' 9" ? Is he a heavyweight?

I think people aren't giving Asham enough credit here, yes lucic is 5 inches and 40 pounds bigger, but I think Asham could hang in there with him. Tied up series.

When exactly did Asham fight so well in the last 2-3 years to be considered so good?

I remember him having some good fights and wins some time ago, but the last 2 seasons he didn't do much then wait wait wait wait and throw one bomb that missed most of the times...Lucic IMO is a way better fighter, Asham is more experienced and smart but I doubt he would win against Lucic.
