I dont hate Brash, but I never really liked him...Until Now

Im personally enjoying the hell out of Brashs dirty antics. He is fullfilling his duty as "enforcer", he is putting fear into other teams, hes been answering the bell, hes playing dirty and cheap, and WE all love it. Id like to see some other Enforcers start taking on more of a GOON mentality like Brash is doing.

Anyone else think Brash is taking shots at the NHL through his recent behavior...?

Ward shouldnt have been running his mouth, but yes it was cheap...but who cares, it creates rivalries, and makes the game more exciting.

Exactly, it creates rivalies and ticket sales. You watch next time the Rangers play the Caps, I guarantee you tickets will be more and go faster. I miss Brashear to death in philly. I was devastated when they didn't bring him back. At the flyers wives carnival, he is the only player I wanted to meet. He is having a great year, and if Ward runs hims mouth F him, he deserves what he gets.

How anyone at this site could be upset with the actions which transpired during this game is beyond me. This is exactly what this league desperately needs, and Brash deserves credit for being essentially the only guy who has offered this type of excitement thus far this year. The only problem I'd have with Brash decking Ward would be if Ward didn't do anything, or if Brash did it after ducking the Rags' heavy all night. Clearly neither of these was the case.

Nobody on this site should be mad about Brash's actions. The only reason Ward was running his mouth was because the ref was there, Ward wouldnt have said ****E if he was alone. Keep it up Brash.

I guess he inspired Ovechkin to act the same way. Regardless though, Ward can say whatever the hell he wants because at that point Brash was out of the game. He goaded Brash into making a stupid move that got him a game suspension. What did Brash prove by doing that?

I've never been a big Brashear fan but this week has made me change my mind. First he has 3 kinda hug-free fights and now a duble header topped of with a beautiful pop to Wards ugly face. Great gooning!
