Colin White

Any reason why he stopped fighting?
Most players cut down on fighting when they get older, but I don't think I know anyone who stopped completely.

He took a puck to the eye during a practice in the pre-season in 2007 and is practically blind out his right eye. That's why he wears the giant Dany Heatley visor and that's why he doesn't fight anymore.

White was forced to wear the visor too. I remember a quote he said which was, "It's either I wear a visor or I don't play hockey."

I think he picked the right decision!

I guess he still can play tough hockey even if he can't back it up.

I understand him.

I would think as long as guys in the league know his issue (as I'm sure most do), they have no problems with him playing an honest, tough role.

Its when he starts playing like Chris Pronger you throw it out the window and disregard it...

Nobody said he was... or even close to it.

The post is when he starts playing with the dirty edge Pronger plays with, then guys shouldn't hold back, despite his blindness in one eye.
