O'Reilly Signing

Does anyone else think that the Avs should have let Ryan O'Reilly go to the Flames? Based on today's standings, if the Avs had let O'Reilly go they would likely have had 2 of the first 6-8 draft choices and 3 of the first 35. With as many holes as the Avs had, it would seem that the Avs need young talent and cap space more than they need to add another over-paid player to their roster.
