he might be better offensively, but defensively he's one of the worst in the nhl. he doesn't take the body, doesn't block shots, and is lazy as well unless he's on the offensive. how can that really help compared to o'donnell, lepisto and olsen? it's not an upgrade dude, not even close.

hey you're the one who said sign jim slater for the #2 center spot...so now you're going to contradict that by saying you still wouldn't be happy with it, why even say it in the 1st place? that's right, cause you're clueless...

jarret stoll is better by a mile and can actually play the point on the pp as well as be a good penalty killer. if you bring in slater its for 3rd/4th line role

i am all for this line. hopefully Bolland becomes a more consistent player, obviously Shaw will have to continue to grow and Carcillo will, hopefully, hit everything that moves.

My thoughts exactly. A line like that would do a lot of much needed hitting ESP against other teams first line.

idk about carcillo on a checking line personally...he's not the greatest defensively.

imo he needs to be on a scoring line as that gritty winger or on the 4th line.

I don’t want to get into an argument with American Dream but if Penner or Corvo join the team I will burn every bit of Blackhawks paraphernalia I own. I hate, HATE, how Penner plays the game, I’d rather someone vomit in my face than have him on the team.

I wouldn’t mind Corvo so much but he’s not the type of Dman the Blackhawks need, we have enough guys that think they are Ray Bourques’ nephew. What does he bring that Leddy and Ophelia don’t?

Bottom line is that they are over stocked with soft players, we don't need them.

I hate to say it but it may be time to see what we can get for Sharp and maybe even Kane (don't flame me too bad).

i'd be one of the few nodding silently if they were shopping Sharp. Kane, on the other hand, just needs to give 100% all the time. will it happen? i guess i don't know, but i'd rather see his 100% here, than anywhere else, honestly.

one trade that should be looked at is kane for jonathan bernier...too bad kane has that no-movement clause

sharp isn't going anywhere...i heard he was playing injured thru the series (more than your normal bumps and bruises that everyone has).

I don't like Kane for a goalie, especially with the d we have, I think it would be pointless. Maybe a package deal that would send Brown and or Green our way, I would dig that. Wishful thinking though, never happen.

Sharp didn't look like the same player out there thats for sure.
