I've got FiOs and I really feel for you. up until a couple weeks ago, we couldn't get MSG in HD & that was torture. I can't even imagine not getting it at all. On a side note, I don't know if FiOS is available where you live, but I couldn't be happier with it. Switched from Cablevision about 2 years ago, and actually pay less now than I did with them.

It won't be long before MSG is in a dispute with DirecTV and Fios. Cablevision pulls this **** constantly. Their last dispute with Time Warner didn't effect the Sabres coverage as it was the lockout, but Time Warner had to drop all the Fox College Sports channels because MSG owned the regional rights to FSN. That meant I missed all of the WCHA playoffs.

If you are in the hybrid territory (east of the Finger Lakes and north of Orange and Putnam counties) that allows to watch NY metro teams in addition to the Sabres on MSG, just get NHL Center Ice. You can watch all the "local" games with no blackouts. That was the case when I was in Albany, I think it is the same elsewhere, but ask before you order. Otherwise PM me and I will give you a reliable to get them online through Gamecenter Live. You will have to pay for it, but it will be cheaper than getting a dish only to have to go thorough this again in a year or two.

I am in the Rochester area as well. I have been looking for a reason to switch to Direct, but as said it is a matter of time before MSG has issues there as well. It's a bunch of BS over a dollar or 2. I am beyond annoyed over this.

MSG Pulled this same stunt not long ago with other providers. Im no fan of TimeWarner but I cannot see paying a 50%+ rate increase or being forced to carry more ' music channels ' that are unwanted and eat up plant bandwidth.

As Rayzor stated, MSG will pull the same thing with other providers in the future.

I feel out of the loop not seeing the Buffalo games. Both sides have too much at stake to let this drag on all season I believe. There was an artilce in the paper recently how sponsers (carruba collsion, yancy fancys)being affected by this. It's good that Buffalo is having a viewing party for away games to help ease the anger for some. It's not helping that the Sabres are sucking while these so called "negations" are happening.

I'm sick of Time Warner... but not because I can't watch this shytty team on there, but because it's too damn expensive to begin with.

Fuk MSG too. When the Sabres season is over in a few months there will be ZERO reason to watch it anyway. I hate basketball, and Boomer & Carton can lick my nuts.

When I feel like being tortured and/or getting pissed off I just stream the Sabres online from any number of sites. It usually doesn't take too long to get fed up and turn it off anyway.

Time Warner and MSG are back at the negotiating table apparently thanks to Jeremy Lin and the Knicks winning streak. Per WHEC.

NEW YORK -- Sources tell YNN that Time Warner Cable and MSG have reached a tentative deal, ending the month and a half long viewer blackout.

MSG and MSG Plus haven't been available to Time Warner Customers since New Year's Day, when the companies failed to reach a new agreement.

The heat has been on both companies, especially since the Knicks have been doing so well following Jeremy Lin's appearance on the court.

Sources tell us tonight’s game against the New Orleans Hornet's will be on Time Warner Cable.

Time Warner Cable is the parent company of YNN.

Little late here but I clicked in by accident. Don't use either. Just get NHL game center. Well worth the money.
