And the Thrashers put on the assless chaps to play the Pens. Win streak over, although it did set a franchise high. Losses of Valabik and Bogey (goddamn Matt Cooke... Keep waiting to see someone tomohawk him...) tonight too. Losing Hainsey last night puts us down a man or two on D. Reckon who we see called up.

In other news, moonshiner Popcorn Sutton was found dead in his home. He was soon to report for a 18-month prison sentence. RIP Popcorn.

I saw that. Looked pretty bad. Lets hope it doesnt make him more timid come NHL season again. Seemed to me that he was finally gettin accustomed to things and not so meek about goin into the high traffic areas.

Saw that hit. Pretty crazy, but I felt it was Enstrom's fault. He was sideways and turned toward the boards at the last second.

I agree, he couldve done more to avoid it. Thats when the grizzled vet would tell him to keep his head on a swivel. And as a small (not even smallER, just plain SMALL) he should always be aware of dangers like that. As I said though, I just hope it doesnt make him more timid/soft.
