Hallo Waddell, you jerk! A free agent signing period has started, you better at least re-sign Boulton or Tampa Bay will eat as alive.

Thanks for starting this thread FW.

Waddell again makes fantastic move by signing Hainsey on 5-year deal worth 22,5$ deal which earns him 2,5$ per season. Is that a little too much or what?

My guess is after two season we will wave him.

Did I miss something??? How is Hainsey worth even half of that? I mean, the guy is worth keeping, but that number came out of left field for me - I figured $1.5 to $2.0 tops...

Ridiculous.

Good character? Have you met Boots? He's not the only criminal NHL owner... What has this league become...

Anybody optimistic? I am, but really only about our defense, and then only if the forwards can keep the pressure off enough that the D aint gotta carry the team straight into another mid-season collapse. As of now, I do not expect playoffs; and unfortunately, therefore, I do not expect Kovalchuk to re-sign here.
