The thing with the Bruins...Even though they have tough players, they don't play mean and rarely ever punish the other team. With few exceptions, they play soft.

Brashear beat your favorite fighter. And would win in hypotheticals as well (except Belak).

I wouldn't say soft, but nowhere mean enough. Thornton, for instance, he lets guys off the hook too much, like when he fought Orr last year, he could've tuned him up when he jerseyed him, but called the liners in. Stuart, though, he's just plain bloodthirsty. He isn't soft by any means.

Washington outplayed Boston by a wide margin. Awful way to start out the year.

All of Boston's passes seemed to be missing their mark. The B's were even having trouble staying on their feet at times, it seemed. Considering I have Savard, Chara, and Lucic on my fantasy squad, I have to say I was less than impressed! Still, we all know this won't continue, the Bruins are going to be a force to be wreckoned with.

Yeah, they were definitely out of sync. They wont repeat last years record, but I would expect a lot more out of them.

I know, but Thornton seems to be a little too nice sometimes. Thing is, though, I can't even remember how many games he won for us last year with the energy he brings. That's why I love our 4th line.
