well as far as fights go, there was a point in the game where Mitchell was taking liberties with Smyth and Kesler was trying to get at Kopitar on the same shift. Murray sent Ivanans out during a power play to let both Mitchell and Kesler know he was there if they really wanted to fight. of course both declined and Ivanans did a good job of parking himself infront of the net during the PP.
Mitchell was a pain in the ass the whole night but behaved very well while Ivanans was on the ice. i can't remember if it was either Burrows or Kesler who bumped Ivanans near the benches and Ivanans held him there for a bit to see if he really wanted to fight, which he didn't. Rypien skated by and did not do anything while Raitis held Kesler/Burrows hostage.
i don't think there were no fights for lack of Ivanans trying or wanting like Wednesday. its just neither Glass nor Rypien retaliated when Ivanans went out to challenge both Kesler and Mitchell, or when he held Kesler/Burrows by the benches.
