Toronto at Pittsburgh 1/23/13

http://www.torontosun.com/2013/01/23...p-for-penguins

James Reimer is in net.
Possibility Jake Gardiner will make his season debut.
Based on practice, Orr stays in.

Quote:
Based on what he rolled out at the morning skate, here’s how Carlyle’s lines would look tonight:

Tyler Bozak at centre between Phil Kessel and Clarke MacArthur, Mikhail Grabovski between Nikolai Kulemin and James van Riemsdyk and Nazem Kadri between Joffrey Lupul and Leo Komarov. The fourth line of Mike Brown, Jay McClement and Colton Orr would likely remain the same.
Crosby has yet to score, so he'll probably get a hat trick tonight.

Crosby has done pretty well against the Leafs in Pittsburgh, but Toronto has done well against the Pens in Pittsburgh. So it should be a good game.Obviously the main attraction would be an Orr/Engelland fight.Hoping that it happens...Could also see Brown/Glass going at too...

Well, this game is going pretty much the way I expected. Not very good. I knew the Leafs would come in and spoil the Pens' home opener.

Happy we got to see a great fight between Orr and Engelland and that the Leafs won but of course it wouldn't be a Leafs win without something bad happening to spoil the night and take away any positivity Leafs fans may be feeling. In this case it was Lupul going down with a broken arm on another fluke injury. Any slim playoff chances the Leafs may have had coming into this season are pretty much gone without Lupul in the lineup. Oh well.

Pfft. The Leafs have made life miserable for the Pens in recent years, but it wouldn't have been so bad if that bunch of fukking jackholes wearing black jerseys stopped making the same fukking mistakes game after fukking game. I know it's only 3 games into a short season, but I'm ready to send Bylsma packing. He is SO overrated it isn't even funny. Get someone in here who will crack the whip on those self-entitled pr*cks whenever they make mistakes. 3 years now since they won the Cup, and it's the same old sh*t.

Pretty crappy performance. Two big turnovers, one by Geno and the other by Tangradi that directly led to goals. Fleury didn't look very sharp...he made some great saves and let a couple softer goals go by. Good thing Toronto never makes the playoffs cause they always give the Pens a fit for some reason. Oh well, I suppose 48-0-0 wasn't gonna happen anyways.
