If Bettman is smart, he'll let the team's play. Meaning, fights should happen.....those fans aren't going to want to see a frusterating powerplay fest. Especially after the ****ing lockout

That'd be gay. I wouldn't be surprised, but hopefully after the extra-long offseason these guys come out and play hard, and the refs let the little stuff go.

It's the first game after a long lockout and it's an interstate rivalry...
Rinaldo is a lock to either run someone and/or have a fight.

The first chance Rinaldo gets to take a run at Crosby, watch out. He's going to try to get Crosby of his game, and into the box.

I also expect an Engelland vs Simmonds rematch....

why? engelland is way out of simmonds league. the only reason they fought last time was b/c simmonds was the toughest flyer on the ice during a line brawl.

I think Simmonds has the balls to want a rematch, as he wasn't 100% the last time.. Plus those two are probably the two toughest guys dressed by either team, so maybe they find each other again.

This is why Sestito and/or Shelley need to be dressed. Simmonds shouldn't have to fight a kook like Engelland. While I get your logic, there's no way Simmonds seeks a rematch.

No. I don't think anything is going to happen except the Pens getting run all day long without any retaliation. One of the reasons they felt they lost to the Flyers in the playoffs was because they got too caught up in the emotion and hatred and got off their game, so they will be determined to stay away from the extra stuff.

Yea, the old "make them pay on the power play" excuse. Avoid all the extra stuff after the whistles, etc.... Oh well. One can hope.
