Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers 10/2/2009

Ahh, it's a good night for hockey in Pittsburgh. A little over 17,000 Penguins fans packed the Mellon Arena to see the raising of the 2008-2009 Stanley Cup Flag and coincidentally the last home opener in the league's oldest arena. Next season the Penguins will be in the brand new, and rightfully deserved, Consol Energy Arena.
But not to dwell on the past and future, the Penguins played division rival New York Rangers with newly acquired Marian Gaborik.

Too bad Mario had to extort the money to pay for it out of the rest of PA. But congrats on the first win.

He didn't extort it, the old people in Pittsburgh didn't care for a new arena. It was gonna happen regardless, Mario just wanted to make sure he didn't have to pay for it.

As far as I know he's not. Why would he be? He acted like a jackass when he got kicked out of the Devils game, but nothing suspension worthy.
