Pittsburgh at NY Islanders 11/26/08

Pens projected lines:

Talbot-Crosby-Satan
Fedotenko-Malkin-Sykora
Cooke-Staal-Kennedy
Dupuis-Zigomanis-Godard

Orpik-Letang
Gill-Scuderi
Boucher-Goligoski

Sabourin
Curry

Big shakeup tonight on the PP. MT finally woke up and decided he wants some grit on both units, so Tyler Kennedy will play on the top unit with Crosby and Satan, and Matt Cooke (?) will play on the 2nd unit with Staal and Sykora. Malkin and Goligoski will work the points on the top unit, and Boucher and Letang on the 2nd unit. Hopefully this gets them out of their funk - this team has too much talent to be 16th in the league on the PP and dead last on the road.

Full scouting report on tonight's game: LINK

BTW, I hope Fritz plays and has a go with Godard. Godard has not fought since breaking Big Mac's orbital bone and I bet he's itching to fight somebody.

I heard Dupuis will be on the second line and Fedotenko will be on the 4th line. Lets just hope Fritz is playing and him and Godard have alittle dance.

You must be a psychic or something...

Another game, another come from behind win for the Pens. They truly are never out of a game no matter the score. What happened to the Islanders though? It's like they just decided to mail in the rest of the game after they got the big lead and let the Pens take it to them.

Another wild one for the Pens coming back from 3-0. Nice to see Godard give Fritz his first NHL defeat of the season. Malkin had a solid with the Hatrick. I was alittle nervous when Currie went in nets too, good to see him do alright.

*Curry

And yea we always struggle against them for some odd reason. It just seemed like they Islanders thought they had won the game, went into a shell, and Malkin and Sid took over. Look out NHL here come the high flying Penguins into the break only 5 points from the top spot in the East and with a game in hand.

Wow, great loss here. Pittsburgh owned once Curry was in.

P.S. Matt Cooke is the biggest pu$$y ever.

Congratulations to John Curry. It's quite a feat to come into your first NHL game trailing 3-0, and manage to pick up your first win.

Its not really that big of a feat, considering the Isles history of blowing huge leads this season. Its kinda like congratulating someone for scoring a shorthanded goal against the Rangers. That fukcing team gives up a shortie almost every other game.
