the funny thing is all of the pens calls was legit, i can stand letting penalties go that are ticky tacky. and yes the refs let alot of ur calls go after u guys had taken so many. the carcillo dive for one thing was complete bs, then highsticking to coburn. then a penalty on coburn for touchn crosby which was a jokeand the slash richards recieved by staal. I can think of more but those are the 3 that stand out that the announcers was like wow pens got away with that.

I will give you those 3 calls. The Coburn "hook" and Carcillo calls happened right in front of me and I thought both were weak. And I don't know how they missed the slash by Staal on Richards. I'll admit when there are bad calls against the other team, no problem, I just get sick to death of every time the Pens get a few calls in their favor, people bitch about them always getting preferential treatment or some such BS. There are a LOT of calls that other teams get away with and there were a couple yesterday by the Flyers that were blatantly missed by the refs. It goes both ways.

Lupul's roughing call was also weak, malkin's down syndrome fat tounged face was coming at him after the whistle to what, stop right in front of him and do nothing? he was going in to scrum... and lupul just happened to glove him first...

The slash on richards leg was ridiculous that it was missed...

Loved randy jones throwing down malkin (i believe it was malkin) and there being no call though...


I'm a flyers fan - deal with it... i dont feel the need to post any positives or mistakes the refs made in favor of the flyers, thats the pens fans job...


as far as i am concerned, goaltending won this game today for the flyers...not that both goalies werent great but biron was very lucky...and i love that Powe got the EN goal.

Why am i not suprised that in a game the Flyers had 7 pp's in to see whining about officiating by some Flyer fans ? Pretty much all fans today for all teams blame everything on the refs but only the truly delusional can do it under those circumstances.Other then the normal over officiating you come to expect from every game I have no issues with the refs. The Pens where undiciplined.


Last Sunday I watched the Rags/Flyers then the Pens/Bruins and in those games the refs ruined the games. You would have thought they had money on the Rags & Pens but they Didn't they just really suck that bad.
