As i said last weekend this is the game of the day...why can't they schedule a game like this each weekend...Then again in my opinion this is the last real intense rivalry left in hockey that doesnt show any signs of fizzing out....to bad they only play six times a year...i hope they meet in the playoffs what a series that would be..

If Bickel does indeed dress then this game will be intense with brawl potential.

Even without Bickel this game will be intense...in these games everybody plays with "an edge" as pathetic color commentator Joe Michaletti puts it...

I think Bickel plays because they haven't called anybody up and I don't think they have anybody else to plug in. I wonder if they give him some shifts at forward or if he will just be a seventh defenseman.

Rupp has to find a fight today. Hopefully he and Sestito go but no matter what he has to force the issue. If Shelley plays then that is an obvious fight. Looking forward to another round of played out jokes about relevance.

I dont see Rupp going unless his hand is healthy. He hurt it again in that fight against the Devils.

if sestito forces the issue i think rupp will have to fight, we'll see what happens. i'm hoping for line brawls, scored free tickets to the game from my buddy, who's a big rags fan.

I'd love to see a wild card fight right off the openeing draw to get this game started and set the tempo. Maybe Simmonds vs Bickel

What section are you, 106-108? I love to sit in those sections behind the Flyers goal, I usually get tix off stubhub in rows 10-18 in one of those sections.

Just a question because I don't know too much about the guy...is Stu Bickel a known fighter, or has he just gained some notoriety since the last game when he went with Sestito and Simmonds? He's a big guy, and seems to be able to handle himself, I just have never heard of him.

He has been a good AHL middleweight/LHW this year and last. He knows that fighting is something has to do to stay with the Rangers this year. He has only fought known fighters in the NHL with the one exception of Tangradi. His only clear loss is to Haley who is in my opinion one of the top MW fighters in the game.

This game fizzed out like a candle in a hurricane thanks to the fairy rangers.
