Montreal at Washington 11/28/08

Habs are coming off an important win against the Wings and have played well in their last 4 going 2-0-2, which could have easily been 4-0. Unfortunately we are not likely to see a Laraque - Brashear matchup as Georges is still out with a groin injury I believe. Apparently Washington has 2 NHL defenceman playing with 4 AHL call ups. Hopefully the Habs can take advantage and put in a few. Last season Ovechkin scored a lot against Montreal and was also on the giving and receiving end of some real big hits. It's be nice to see that keep up tonight. Minus the Oveckin scoring.

Go Canadiens.

For the Habs, Alex Tanguay is out and will be replaced on the first line by Tom Kostopoulos, who actually works well with Saku Koivu and Christoper Higgins. Guillaume Latendresse will be back in taking Kostopoulos' spot on the third line with Robert Lang and Segei Kostitsyn.

Tanguay is questionable for tonight, the check that Brad Staurt layed on him was a beauty, an a good reason why you should never cross the Blue line with your head down... the Canadiens have called up Matt D'Agustini from the Hamilton bulldogs, Josh Georges, Alex Kovalev an Alex Tanguay are all game time decsions, they were all bruised up from the Detroit game....... Jaroslav Halak will be in nets for the Canadiens tonight.....
