honestly i think the blown call and osgood lettin in 2 not good goals caused the game 7 win...the first goal isnt it your like 1st thing you learn as a goalie stick down???and the 2nd like holy **** what a freakin angle you give him i coulda put that in

If the same thing happened the opposite way, I guarantee you wouldn't be crying that there should have been icing and the Wings goal shouldn't have counted.

Great hockey game. When Crosby went down I thought The Wings would pour it on but damn, did Staal ever kick it up along the wall during the 2nd and 3rd periods.

The quote's from the Wings complaining about Crosby snubbing them on the handshake line is shameful and hopefully blown out of proportion by the media.

IMO...
I don't blame Crosby...he made the hand shake line.

The hypocrisy in whining is ridiculous when you consider they're pointing to Crosby's youth, while alot can be said about their "EXPERIENCE".

You want someone blame???

How about the hundreds of media people and assistants to the NHL marketing folks who have to rush out on the ice to hand out the hats, T-shirts for the Champs to don in the midst of celebrating? Every sport does that crap and it kills some of the celebration.

Crosby was pulled in various directions by teammates and media, he made it to the line...not fast enough for some who apparently took their frowns of disappointment to the lockers when they could have waited just a couple of minutes longer like their coach did.

This will blow over. Congrats to the Pens and their fans and to the Red Wings and their fans for a great final.

But for god's sake PLEASE NHL do something about the officiating which once again was not as advertised (in terms of consistency) and in some cases, just plain horrid.

if that happened in the red wings favor to win a game 7 i would not be cheering about it...you should win fair and square not off a blown call i dont care who you are...if pitt won it 2-1 in ot so be it,they won it 2-1 because of a crappy no call

Why didn't the Wings capitalize on the powerplay chances?
Why didn't they capitalize while Crosby was out for more than 2 thirds of the game?

You play the whistle no?

Brad Stuart coughed up the puck...Osgood got beat. They both played the whistle.
refs blew it but the Penguins won the cup. Now you know how they felt last year when the Wings won. Great to win a game 7, sucks to lose.
